They are spectacular!! Everything about working with them was easy from start to finish! Eric helped me get my time line ready ahead of the wedding and keep to it the day of so things went smoothly and weren't missed due to lack of time. He is truly amazing and showed that he cared and wanted us to have an amazing day through his willingness to help answer any questions we had throughout the planning process. They went above and beyond the day of the wedding and a month later we still have guests telling us how fun, professional, and attentive our photographers were the entire day. They truly captured the emotion and beauty of the day! I highly recommend Edge-E photography to everyone, they are amazing!!

She was so flexible; she even drove to Minneapolis (from Eau Claire, WI) to do our engagement session because that is where we live. She also did a great job on the actual wedding day of getting shots not just of myself and the groom, but all of our guests. Being a photographer myself, I also really appreciate that Kate understands, and works well with multiple kinds of light, which is a necessity in capturing great photos. I would definitely use Kate Bentley Photography in the future, and would recommend her to family and friends.

After multiple attempts at contacting them via text, phone calls, emails and FB Messenger chats over the course of 4 weeks, I have now requested a full refund of my deposit and will now have to scramble to find what I need for our party that is now less than two weeks away. I am extremely disappointed as all prior reviews were very positive.

My husband was in disbelief when I started talking to him about the cost of photographers. He even…read moresaid, "why would you spend more than $1,000 on photos? They're just photos." I convinced him to come with me to a meeting with Andy and by the end of our meeting he was sold! Not only did he want to use Andy for our wedding, he wanted something other than the lowest tier package! Going home he still vocalized (for days) about how much the photographer was going to cost...until we had our engagement photo shoot. The experience had him laughing, a man who hates being in photos. The photos themselves looked amazing and we left feeling better than ever about our decision. Our wedding day went flawlessly and both photographers had on masks the entire day. We haven't received our wedding photos back yet but we did get a slideshow preview at our reception, which our guests raved about! If you're on the fence about who to use or how much money to spend, just remember, at the end of the day the photos are what you'll have to help you look back and remember your special day. Oh, I almost forgot all the extra little things he did. Like carrying my dress, my veil, and any accessories really. He also called me the morning of before he arrived to check in and make sure I was doing okay and had what I needed. A small detail but it meant the world to me! I could go on and on, but if I haven't convinced you yet...you should just schedule a consult with him, you won't regret it.

Thorp is the quintessential small town (pop. 1621). The Heritage Court is the sort of…read morejust-off-the-highway motel you were amazingly lucky to happen upon in the days before Motel 6 and Super 8. The family who run the place are friendly and eager to make your stay a pleasant one. This is one reason I give four stars for a property which otherwise would rate three. The rooms have cable TV (basic: CNN and TBS, but no premium channels), and a ceiling fan. There is central heat, but no air-conditioning that I could see. My bathroom had a shower stall but no tub. Towels about like Motel 6, except in addition to the normal white ones, I found a burgundy colored washcloth and face towel. A sign in the bathroom read: "Burgundy Towels for -Cosmetic removal -Extra soil. Thank you." Standard motel soaps; no shampoo. My room was small, with a double bed and a twin daybed. I had enough room, and a couple would do OK. I can't quite see it working for three unless they take turns stepping out or relaxing in bed while others move about. My room was not wheelchair accessible: this is an older property (likely pre-ADA grandfathered). On balance, I felt that the price I paid was a good value for what I got. The essentials covered, here is what wins the fourth star: As I said, the innkeepers are friendly and welcoming. They've taken some time and thought to create a cheerful décor that goes a long way toward making a small room feel cozy rather than cramped. They'll give you good advice on where to eat and where to find things. The office is in a beautiful historic 1891 Victorian house (the rest of which is the family's home). While many roadside inns provide chintzy please-give-us-free-advertising postcards, in my room at the Heritage Court I found postcards with beautiful pen-and-ink renderings of the motel and the historic house. Classy. If you need basic, reasonably-priced accommodation that is a bit friendlier and has more personality than a national chain, the Heritage Court Motel of Thorp is the place to stay.

You do get the accompanying road noise, but it is not too bad. Just city street traffic and not freeway or highway noise. The rooms have been nicely remodeled from whatever road shack this place was before. Each room has a fridge which is always a big plus. Each room also has a record player which I thought was kind of cool. Small but hip collection of records in the lobby to choose from. You can take up to three out at a time. The attached bar, The Lakely, is decent. Jazz band playing when I was there. Not a great beer selection. Was a little bit disappointed that the drink token I got when I checked in was for BOGO and not a freebie. That is not how I am accustomed to drink tokens working. I prefer The Lismore hotel which is a couple blocks away for its quietness. However, I would not object to staying here again.

For sure would stay again, but would try to book in the main building. My only thing with my room in the flats/unattached building, at least in the late summer/early fall, is that it was pretty musty in the room. They had damp rid packets out but they can only do so much. It was fine for one night but not the greatest vibe- probably not as big of a factor in the main building rooms though.

We called A-1 and LaRoy made to 40 minute trip to the land and was able to fix the compressor on the spot. Then the sandblaster was leaking sand and not getting a high enough PSI to get the job done. LaRoy brought it back to A-1 and was generous enough to drive it back to the land to make sure it worked. I was delayed 5 hours and not able to finish the job. I returned the equipment as originally planned and was offered a free day to have the equipment to finish the job. Great offer but i had to take off work and cant leave my exposed steal frame out for a week until i cant sandblast again. Overall ok experience. LaRoy deserves this 5 star review with his friendly and knowledgeable demeanor.
