    Mojito flight

If I could do half stars, I would rate 44 North a 3.5. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was decent. Our waitress opened with, it's a bad day to have such a bad hangover... and that showed in the promptness and attentiveness. I ordered the Alfredo with grilled chicken, it was fine. The most enjoyable part of my visit was the mojito flight. It was delicious for sweet drinks, but so sweet that I couldn't finish them.

I'll admit I just love this place. I love that I can head upstairs and get a traditional dining experience or grab a drink and play some arcade games downstairs. The entire concept is right up my alley. We've been here several times but most recently for dinner. We sat at the bar upstairs and ordered an appetizer, wings, a sandwich, and some drinks. The bartenders are super friendly and everything came promptly. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable for the excellent flavors and cool menu items. We will be back again and again.

Immediately seated outside on weeknight evening. Capable friendly service. Enjoyed the Bloody Mary flight. All were tasty. We have boneless wings as appetizer. They were good. Entrees were chicken Caesar salad and Caprese wrap with potato dippers. The potatoes were nothing special and the homemade ketchup was strange.

What a great date night spot! I came here with a coworker, but this place is for everyone! It's a great sports bar with an arcaded on the other side. The menu is very different but in the best way possible. We had the scallop sliders and we both had a salad since we weren't so hungry, but I will be back soon to try more! Great spot!!!!

Bloody flight is amazing and really the only reason I come here. 4 stars only because... Today my super power is invisibility. Going on 10 minutes at the down stairs bar waiting to be acknowledged, nothing. Went up stairs... I'm no longer invisible I guess.

The food was good but my favorite part was the arcade games. The server was slow but more fun time that way you can win prizes with tokens

This place has one of the poorest services of any restaurants in the Chippewa Valley. The food is mediocre.

TLDR: creative cocktail and good menu with a Wisconsin twist…read more I brought my group of 8 family and friends here and everyone loved what they ordered! The menu features a lot of local Wisconsin produce and Wisconsin favorites with a twist, like Baked Cheese Curds (the tomato jam is SO GOOD) and Portobello Poppers with a wild rice and cheddar filling (it was so tasty I couldn't believe it was vegetarian!). Everyone really liked the Chicken Fried Rabbit (obviously, not our veg friend lol). The buttermilk-brined rabbit leg was so juicy and tender. The red cabbage slaw on the side was a perfect pairing. The Candied Pork Belly just melted in my mouth, no joke! And I love that it was seasoned with hoisin sauce and came with some baba ghanoush, which you'd think wouldn't go together--but it so does. For my main, I had the Grilled Ribeye and my bf had the Roasted Lamb. Both were cooked to perfection (medium rare) and both were phenomenal! The chimichurri on the side had some sweet kick to it but the steak didn't even need it bc it was plenty flavorful and tasty. The lamb was so tender and the mint gelee was *chef's kiss*. The Great Lakes Walleye was served on a nice tomato confit brodo and my bf's parents absolutely loved how imaginative it was. We all thought it'd just come out with a side of potatoes or something but the presentation blew us away AND they said it was very lovely. The kids loved their How 'Bout Them Apples pizza, which wouldn't have been my first choice (apples on pizza?!) but it did look tasty! For drinks, I ordered the Seamus (which is basically an old fashioned with Irish whiskey) and my partner ordered the Watermelon Mojito. I couldn't believe he liked the Seamus bc he usually hates old fashioneds but tbf it was a very well balanced cocktail! His Watermelon Mojito was refreshing and yummy (but a little too sweet for me). My bf and our friend both loved it tho! We'll definitely be back again the next time we pass thru Eau Claire!!

I think we had approximately 20 people and a couple joined last minute. I know this is not ideal for servers, but it worked out well and again, we so appreciate it! The Informalist was super convenient since many of us were staying at the Lismore Hotel. Since this restaurant is located in the lobby, it was just super easy and the menu has something for everyone. We ordered from both the pizza and regular dinner menu and many of us shared a bit of everything! The truffle fries may have been the biggest hit of all, so don't miss out on those! Pizza is fabulous too. We saw elote fries, a burger, caesar salad, steak and so many other things at our table. My favorite pizza was the Yellow Jacket, which includes red sauce, mozzarella, cheddar cheese, pepperoni, and spicy honey. My least favorite item was the salmon crudo, but the salmon entree was not bad. Ambiance is hip and trendy and feels a bit fancy, but we were all dressed casually. Interesting due to the name of the restaurant, but it works! If back in the area, I'd absolutely return. Enjoy!

LOVE they have a gluten-free menu. LOVE they have NA drinks…read more We both ate Gluten-free and it was good. Our server was very polite and kind and good. Our food was hot and fresh. And seriously $13.99 for a gluten free cheeseburger and fries, come on! RUN to this place and keep it going. We need places like this. The only negative is they need a non dairy alternative cheese. Goat, Vegan, something. But they have a HUGE Gluten-free menu. Even a dessert menu. This is amazing! Tip: free parking in lot across the street. This is in a hotel but has drop off area.

I was intrigued by the hot stone concept with hot stone for two you got shrimp, steak, pork and scallops and then a choice of one side of each and choice of about 5 sauces. The meat took awhile to come out maybe it was more so waiting for a stone to free up because we cooked the food ourselves so not sure about the delay. I like the concept I think only tricky thing is trying to cook all the meat and still have flavor as it can't be seasoned while on the rock. The sauces felt like they could use some work. The one called chimichurri cream tasted nothing like a chimichurri. the best way to go us probably ranch or cocktail sauce the others were a bit hit and miss which was unfortunate since the meat isn't marinated or anything. The onion rings could have used a little more crunch to them. I think for future I would just order something else but it was fun trying the stone at least once. It looks like a nice classic restaurant maybe on the older side than some of the more modern spots downtown. If you need gluten free looked like they had lots of options and there was a waffle menu too which sounded good.
