Like any used book store, you never know what you will find. Most of the books are obtained through donations, and some are from discarded library books. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. I have asked them to be on the lookout for a couple of authors or books. Some they have found, while some have been shelved by other staff. All in all, they do a great job. They are very friendly. There are a massive amount of 50 cent paperback novels. It's located in the basement of the Main Street Public Library.

Literally floor to ceiling, every room in what appeared to be an old converted house, was packed with books of all genres while maintaining a clean and well organized environment. While I was just browsing, I'm sure they had anything you may desire. From standard used books they also had more collectible editions, great for not only adding to your own but also gifting. There was even some seating available in some of the rooms so one could even take a little break from perusing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, able to navigate the vast collection with ease. Books were all priced fairly as well. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

We really lucked out as I found multiple records in my wish list, and my punk-rock teen found some rare finds with Green Day and Panic at the Disco (both of those were higher priced than I would have liked). They offer insultingly low payouts, no matter the quality or value of your books. I recently brought in several thick, high-quality books and was given barely anything for them. The pricing process is completely opaque, with no explanation of how they determine value. To make things worse, customer service is awful. The employees seem uninterested and dismissive, acting as if they're doing you a favor by taking your books off your hands. There's no negotiation, no respect for sellers, and no reason to bring your books here unless you want to be ripped off. Save yourself the frustration--sell elsewhere or donate your books to people who will actually appreciate them!

I was driving from Nashville to Cincinnati and picked Frankfort as a place to get out of the car and walk for an hour. Not one to resist a craft store, I decided I could pop in for a minute or two. I perused the store for over an hour and left with $400 worth of merchandise. Completely Kentucky is, in my opinion, the best crafts store in the US. This is not a store where you go to "get a deal." The merchandise is priced so the artists can be decently compensated and the store can keep its lights on. That means not cheap. But coming from the left coast, I thought the prices were very reasonable. When it comes to wood and clay crafts, Kentucky knocks it out of the park. But this store features artists working in every manner of medium. Their commitment to providing a spot to as many Kentucky artists and crafts people as possible is impressive. I love this store. The day after I discovered them I started saving for my next visit. My goal is the have minimum $1000 to spend and to also bring along an empty suitcase so I can get all my loot back home. :)
