One of my favorite playgrounds in Tampa bay…read more This is what you do for a half day on a weekend. We park at the parking lot that is closest to playground. It's the first one you come up upon on your left when you're driving down the street. We put in for three hours of parking which comes out to $7.35. We walk to the playground and while the kids play, I go to the outside bar and grab two skinny margaritas, which are very reasonably priced. Then we go to Doc Ford's or another restaurant close by for a meal. And then depending how crazy the kids are, we may take them back to the playground. This is such a fun place for the kids, half of it is shaded with a canopy and half of it is shaded by trees which means it's hit or miss whether the play equipment is shaded. I highly recommend putting on sunscreen. It is close to a small beach and splash pad also so you can walk amongst the three if it gets really hot. There's an area for younger kids 2 to 5 and the other part is for kids 5 to 12. Bring cardboard because kids like to sit on the cardboard and ride down a tiny hill that's there. Usually though there is cardboard left by other kids, but if you go first thing in the morning, you should be the people that bring the cardboard. It can be pretty crowded. All the kids seem to get along and my kids who are five and seven have an absolute blast year every time. I highly recommend.

Fun place for kids of all ages to explore! Restrooms and a cafe nearby. Some shade. The splash pad…read morewas closed for maintenance, but the beach access was a nice alternative.

They have specials for each day, but after taxes and all the extra things they force you to buy, the special is thrown out the window. When we arrived, we signed the waiver and the staff member who claimed to be the manager as well as her other staff member offered us to upgrade 4 dollars to do the ninja warrior course. We all were intrigued, so we bought it. We were then forced to buy socks. On Mondays they have a $15 pair deal. You and one other person pay $15 to bounce. Once we were told to buy the socks, bought the ninja warrior course, and taxes, it came out to $23-$24. We went over to the ninja warrior course, which we were told it's great to upgrade to, and 2 of the courses had broken parts. The staff was aware of this and yet still wanted to offer the upgrade failing to let us know the parts were broken. I found that very unprofessional and unkind, Especially coming from the manager. My cousin and I were refunded, after the manager and her staff had an attitude and made it seem extremely difficult to want our money back for a broken course. We were not allowed to continue the ninja warrior course even though there was this inconvenience. I found that very odd. The place was clean for the most part, the trampolines were fun, as well as the dodgeball area. But all the other attractions were an upgrade. I just felt like any way they could get our money, they tried. Even the lockers to store your personal belongings were for a price! Overall we had a decent time, but for the price; I would say I wouldn't go back very often unless their specials were more inclusive with what they have going on building wide.

Parents pull up to the front of the establishment drop off 3-5 kids and drive away. No parent supervision, no employee supervision at all. They do not have the manpower nor the discipline as employees. Largo police officers (2) were there, they did walk around but I feel they did the minimum. Feels like they are forced to be there and time is dragging on for them. Why are these kids allowed to bring in backpacks, come in hoodies? They are coming to "jump" and "sweat" you see most of them walk around Skyzone trying to look for problems. Male bathroom doors are left opened, but kids among themselves watch out for the adults while they vape in the bathroom doing what is called "Ghosting", which is hiding the smoke by inhaling and not letting it out. I understand parents need a break, I understand kids need something to do, but at what cost? Please don't say "kids will be kids" "let kids be kids" or "are they harming someone?" The response here is, if your child doesn't have access to vapes, this is where they get it and this is where they are trying it. Also young girls mingling with grown teenagers. Bins for shoes and belongings should be removed, have lockers that you could rent. One child got his gray Nike slides stolen. Employees just need to be strictly working and not hanging around with their friends while on the clock. Spoke with the manager he was nonchalant, based his response kids are allowed to bring backpacks but no weapons. Police officer was there and made no comment, he seemed like he didn't even care. I did make a point across based on vaping and how they are minors and it's illegal and the managers respond: "Ahhh kids are bad." As a parent I do not recommend this place for the after hours glow in the dark event. Unless you are here supervising yours.

Several of her family members and her five (5!) children. It is a beautiful place, well laid out, plenty of parking, gorgeous views and dedicated to all veterans, so a special meaning for me as a veteran. With beautiful, covered areas for grilling and eating, lots of paths for walking, jogging, and dog walking. A huge playground for children, which made for hours of fun for the kids. Plenty of parking all around the lake. A nice dock for feeding the ducks and fish, not sure if they allow fishing or not. A nice workout area with lots of different exercise equipment. Plenty of war memorials for veterans and families of veterans. Several areas of names of local veterans that served. And really nice and clean restrooms for after a couple bottles of water. Most impressive though was the placement of a combat jet lifted high in the air. A beautiful and thoroughly enjoyable park nestled right off a main road. Just watch the GPS carefully, it's a small road leading in. We missed it but the jet caught our attention and we turned about.
