I got my tint done here. I waited about 3 weeks to write the review in case any problems occurred. I got the tint at 9 am. They took about 50 minutes. I was in and out pretty quick. Soon as you get the tint, there will be few bubbles from the water. Usually when I got tint, the bubbles usually went away within a day. But I think it is important on the weather conditions for the time it takes for the bubble to go away. Usually I got it in the summer, but this time I got it in the fall and it was constantly raining also. So the next day, I still had many bubbles, and I called them, they told me to come back in. My schedule was full, so my next schedule was 6 days away. 3rd day after the tint, the driver side bubbles were all gone. 6th day after the tint, finally all the bubbles were gone on the passenger sides. As I said before. We had raining almost everyday for 5 days. I think that was the issue with bubbles. My rear tint was peeling off on the top right because my window has some ridged part to the window on top. So I still went in for the appointment and they glued that area up and had no problem since then. All the problems I had was issues with weather and my window having ridge bumps. This is not one of those places that you get in and out quickly. Whatever service you want, it's going to take a lot of time. I had an appointment at 2:00pm. Nobody even talked to me until 3:00pm. Finally started working on my car at 4:00pm. I was out at about 5:30pm. If I knew, I would have planned my afternoon better. No complaints about the quality of the work (If that were not the case, this would have easily been a 1 star review). The price seemed a bit high though. Customer service was definitely lacking. Actually, I did not feel valued as a customer at all. Guess they are too busy to care. Everyone has to make their own decision. If you want a job well done, but are willing to be treated like you don't matter, then I recommend this place for you. But for myself personally, I value integrity and customer service. Just swung by here today for a 4:00 appointment to tint my 2012 Camry. Pulled up and was immediately approached by an employee who was very helpful in addressing my needs. Work started immediately and an hour and a half later I was pulling off. Very efficient workers and friendly staff. Clean shop and a cool little waiting area. He has a state of the art workstation that has a database of most vehicles to pre-cut the film which is an investment which pays off in order to get his clients in and out, also not to mention he is very knowledgeable and far from a rookie. As I pulled up to his shop he already saw my body language and picked up on that I am a very very meticulous person when it comes to the needs of my car. Steve had accommodated and took me in without an appointment and I was out in less than 2 hours. I noticed minor imperfections and he was quick to address them. Days later I started to see bubbles, I contacted him for a date to have them addressed and as soon as I pulled up, he put the car he was working on to the side to address my imperfections!!! Just got my tints done today on my 350z. I went with the 3M premium tint (20 % all around except front windshield) which also has lifetime warranty, and they came out great. The wait wasn't too long, and the staff were friendly. Prices are fair, Quality matters when it comes to tints and they don't disappoint. I definitely recommend you coming to this shop. * Milestone Review #900 * For months, I've been researching for the best tint shop in town. I've got my previous vehicle tinted and the results weren't as good as Tintmax mainly because the guy left a very noticeable scratch along the film of my driver side window and for his warranty, he simply never answered my calls ever after installation. With my second car, there is no factory tint on the windows and we have a 6 month old baby now and I've noticed the sun really bothers his eyes. I've searched and asked several friends for recommendations and finally a pal over at Bayside Infiniti told me to speak with Adam from Tintmax. I called and they delivered! When I walked into their office, first thing I noticed was that they are extremely busy! Their shop is packed with cars. They don't only do tints, they also do body work as well. So when I finally spoke with Adam in person, he gave me a quick rundown of the type of 3M film they use and the difference in ceramic film. I got there a little early so it gave me some time to think which film I would like to go with. The regular film according to Adam, does not reject a lot of heat and it tends to fade after 5 years or so and it has a 5 year warranty. The ceramic film however, does reject heat and they offer lifetime warranty with that. After checking out some samples on the cars they have in their shop, I decided to go with the more expensive ceramic tint. I went with 35% all around and a 20% windshield strip tint and I must say, it looks amazing! My interior is black so the 35% looks even dark than it suppose to. I saw the 35 on some lighter interior cars in their shop and the tint looked somewhat weak and unnoticeable. But in a dark colored interior, it makes such a difference. When they completed the tints, they drove it outside and under the sun it looked even better! Zero scratches and zero bubbles! I was really blown away and impressed by their handy work. The cost of ceramic tints are relatively high but if you want quality work and quality material, then just go with it because it'll be hard to complain about the results. They're just that damn good! It's been roughly 5 days since I've gotten my car tinted and I still can't stop staring at my windows from a distance when I'm at work or when my car is parked outside of my apartment window. The 3M ceramic tints give your car a whole new personality and stylish appearance along with UV protection from the sun. I don't know what happened when I went to get my car tinted. I dropped my car off in the morning before work and picked it after @ 6 so they had plenty of time and it wasn't a wait job. I picked up my car and it looked good. The manager or owner looked over the job after it was put outside for me and he exchanged pleasantries and reminded me that the tint had a lifetime warranty so if there are any problems to bring it back anytime. I get the car home and right away I noticed scratches on the drivers window (looks like it was caused by the squeegee) and dust bubbles on all the windows. Ok i brought the car covered in pollen (it was April during peak allergy season) so I wasn't too upset. I should have washed it first. Then a few weeks later while washing the car I notice that the drivers side triangle window was never properly tinted, the corner is hanging off by about an inch. But in all honesty I went to Tintmax because I have driven past them for years and always seen high end vehicles (they have a Lotus in their shop on their website) so they must obviously do something right, even a cop was waiting for his police cars windows to get done. Tinting all the windows cost me about $190 so the dust bubbles and the bad tint on the rear triangle window has me very disappointed to say the least. So now I have to make time to drop off the car again so they can redo the tint. Lets see if it really is a lifetime warranty. Honestly for the price I expected a LOT more. Yes, they use 3M film but a lot of places now use 3M film w/ lifetime warranty but charge less. read more

Overall I'm pretty happy with the service, nothing really negative to say other than it was a bit pricey ($225) for all four windows and the rear window. DO NOT GO THERE, THEY ARE HORRIBLE, THEY DID A HORRIBLE JOB WITH THE TINTS!!! I don't even know where to start. I had an appointment with them in the morning and came in 10 to 15 minutes earlier before my appointment. Even though i had an appointment, they started doing some other car first and I had to wait like 45 minutes. They started doing my car and 25 minutes later they said we are done. I knew something was not right...it does not take 25 minutes to tint a car. I've tinted 7 or 8 cars in the past and an average it takes 1 hr to 1hr and a half. So basically they rushed like crazy. They guy was rushing me to pay for the car and I said let me take a look first because i know tinting very well. First thing i looked at the driver door window and I swear there were so many scratches on the tint. I showed it to the guy and at first he tried to act like there was nothing there and then he said ok ok i will re- do this window. 5 minutes later he said ok i am done and i looked at it and it was ok. Then i decided to look at the rest of the windows. Next I looked at the driver side back door window and the tint there also had many scraches...again i showed it to the guy and they had to change the tints there also. After they finished redoing that window i looked at the rest of the windows. The passenger side back door had many bubbles and i showed it to the guy and he said oh it will go away in few day. It did not go away. Already a week passed and the passenger side back door and the back window has many bubbles and just looks horrible. Also, from the beginning they were not in the mood and had an attitude. One of the guys started screaming at me for no reason because I was checking my own car. When i went to the register to pay, the guy told me $50 dollars more than the price he told me over the phone. Then i told him listen that's not the price you told me on the phone and then he finally agreed with me. Anyway, I am actually going tomorrow to a different place to redo my tints...that's just how horrible it came out!!! read more

Tintmax was an excellent choice to have my car windows tinted. Their prices are very reasonable and you skip the tax if you pay cash. I paid $225 for premium tints to all windows. The workmanship was top notch professional. They go through the details to ensure "bubbling" of the film does not occur. You can wait at the shop (a super clean waiting area with magazines and a TV) while the tints are applied. You can even watch the installers apply the tints. I consulted with Steve, the owner of the shop, he said 1.5 hours to complete, and 1.5 hours later, my car was complete, now that's punctual! Credit card accepted while some places said cash only = shady. Good location but NO parking here . Job was done well and fast. I had a situation recently where I received 3 tickets (Queens area) new speed limit 37mph in a 25mph smh and 2 tickets for tints (front and rears ) in which all my years I had the car, never received tickets for.
