Tint World El Cajon is by far my favorite all-around shop. The owner, David, and the manager, Felipe, are both extremely accommodating and professional. I've had tint installed on my VW GTI, Mercedes-Benz EQB, and Toyota Land Cruiser--and I'm very pleased with the results and overall quality. Big kudos to their technician, Fernando, for doing an excellent job on each vehicle. We dropped off the Model Y, and a few hours later, it was back with a tint job that looked like it came straight out of a superhero movie. David, the owner, was not only helpful but also treated my wife like royalty. We were so blown away by their responsiveness and respect that we decided to have them tackle our gigantic bay windows at home. We were tired of feeling like ants under a magnifying glass every afternoon. David sent over his top tinter, Isaiah, who arrived on time, ready to work, and respectful to boot. He spent the entire day ensuring our windows were perfectly tinted. When we noticed a tiny blemish, Tint World sent Isaiah back to fix it without a fuss. Talk about service! I purchased some garbage unit off Amazon (LEADFAN - DO NOT BUY) Anyhow, it got a little damaged during the window tint process, but Felipe (the manager) made it right and got me set up with an Apple CarPlay unit that I am 100% happy with. I asked for advice and as I don't drive my car a lot and plan to just rent it out. David the owner or manager of the store I believe helped me decide 15% on the sides. Garbage! I dropped my car off at 9:00 AM to have all the windows tinted. As a returning customer, the owner quoted me $300 and estimated it would take a couple of hours. However, by 2:30 PM, I hadn't heard anything from them, so I went back to check on the car. I found it parked in the exact same spot I had left it, untouched. Apparently, the owner felt "doing a residential" was more important than my car, sitting in his fucking lot all day. This level of service is completely unacceptable. The lack of communication and follow-through was disappointing. I'll be telling others to avoid this place based on my experience. What a joke! read more

I hate stories so I'll make this short and straight to the point. I requested rates for my Tesla Y and David from Tint World came back with the best offer and warranty for tint and PPF. I scheduled an appt and met with Natalia, she has vast and great knowledge about tint and especially what's good for your vehicle. I went with what I thought was a good tint for my vehicle and ended up coming back and changing my tint just cuz I didn't listen to her. So, listen to the person you talk to, they know best. I tinted everything on my car that has glass and also got the red brake caliper covers which looks amazing on the Y. I got PPF as well for protection and glad I did. I was so amazed at their skill level on tinting and PPF installation that I came back with my other vehicle a month later and they did a great job on my Toyota Sienna. The sales guy went over all of the different packages and explained that I would have to get tint put onto my windows because what I had thought was tint was really just "colored glass". They offer a lot more services than just tint, even audio and wraps & graphics. I was really liking the work and surprised they finished my vehicle so quick!
