This is a review that should have been written a while back, I apologize to Dave for it taking so long. I brought my Bronco in last year to get the front windows tinted and net Dave. Very nice gentleman who took the time to explain and answer any questions I may have about tint and how dark along with heat protection. I was comfortable immediately and was able to get the Bronco in immediately. Less than two hours later the job was completed and I couldn't be happier. Fast forward to a few weeks ago; my wife, after seeing how good the Bronco looked, wanted her front windows done the same tint depth. I brought her Rogue in to Dave and he was able to get the job done in less than an hour. Talk about fast, reliable and friendly service!! The tint looks amazing! I would say do not go to this location because it's officially closed. I had my tint done on April 16 2026 and I notice the bubble is not clearing up on my front window. I called yesterday on May 26 and was told to bring my car in at 2pm to get my tint fix. When I arrived the shop is lock and the window has painting paper tape up. I went to the back and saw couple of guys working on their motorcycle and I ask if they are associated with Tint World. They said they are not and any warranty issue need to address it with the Miramar location. I called and talk to the Miramar location and they are not the same because it is franchised. So basically I'm screwed on all 4 of my tint and have to pay an extra $500 to get it replaced. I contact corporate since they are located in Louisiana and waiting for their response. read more

Tint World El Cajon is by far my favorite all-around shop. The owner, David, and the manager, Felipe, are both extremely accommodating and professional. I've had tint installed on my VW GTI, Mercedes-Benz EQB, and Toyota Land Cruiser--and I'm very pleased with the results and overall quality. Big kudos to their technician, Fernando, for doing an excellent job on each vehicle. David, the owner, was not only helpful but also treated my wife like royalty. We were so blown away by their responsiveness and respect that we decided to have them tackle our gigantic bay windows at home. We were tired of feeling like ants under a magnifying glass every afternoon. David sent over his top tinter, Isaiah, who arrived on time, ready to work, and respectful to boot. Came here to get a headlight restoration done, made an appointment for 1PM, checked in at 1245PM, was told about 2 hours for the process so I left my car there and was told they would call or text when car was ready. Call or text never happened, I came back to the shop at 3PM and found my car completed and parked out front. Headlights look like new! Not sure if it's a one man shop but it seemed like just 1 guy was working because there was never anyone at the counter and just 1 person came out from the back. Overall easy process. read more

Had a really nice experience down at this tint world location. Explained every option there is and didn't try to upsell me. I decided to tint the 2 front windows and match my rear windows. I hate stories so I'll make this short and straight to the point. I requested rates for my Tesla Y and David from Tint World came back with the best offer and warranty for tint and PPF. I scheduled an appt and met with Natalia, she has vast and great knowledge about tint and especially what's good for your vehicle. I went with what I thought was a good tint for my vehicle and ended up coming back and changing my tint just cuz I didn't listen to her. So, listen to the person you talk to, they know best. I tinted everything on my car that has glass and also got the red brake caliper covers which looks amazing on the Y. I got PPF as well for protection and glad I did. I was so amazed at their skill level on tinting and PPF installation that I came back with my other vehicle a month later and they did a great job on my Toyota Sienna. Garbage! I dropped my car off at 9:00 AM to have all the windows tinted. As a returning customer, the owner quoted me $300 and estimated it would take a couple of hours. However, by 2:30 PM, I hadn't heard anything from them, so I went back to check on the car. I found it parked in the exact same spot I had left it, untouched. Apparently, the owner felt "doing a residential" was more important than my car, sitting in his fucking lot all day. This level of service is completely unacceptable. The lack of communication and follow-through was disappointing. I'll be telling others to avoid this place based on my experience. What a joke! read more

They were quick to respond to my inquiries for my new jeep wrangler. I was able to get an appointment the next day in the afternoon. The sales guy went over all of the different packages and explained that I would have to get tint put onto my windows because what I had thought was tint was really just "colored glass". They offer a lot more services than just tint, even audio and wraps & graphics. I was really liking the work and surprised they finished my vehicle so quick!
