Was here yesterday for an insurance inspection and counter to other reviews actually had an amazing experience. Just switched insurances and did not have the printed cards with me, was told that I needed them and thought I would have had to come back after printing them at home. However, the staff was very helpful, allowed me to connect to the WiFi and print my cards. The insurance inspection took just a few minutes after that so overall it was an excellent and pleasant experience. read more

I had purchased A high end stereo system from Cruchfield with 3 pair of speakers and one Amp , A CD player Am/Fm Radio . I had gone to 2 other stereo installers to check the price of the work that needed to be done . All of the prices were about the same fee . When I went to Tint World I spoke with Kevin . I had stated that I wanted to keep the stock factory look of my Porsche 911 with keeping the factory grills in place . Keven proudly showed me his high tech Pro Shop ! Keven said he could install the system and keep the factory look . I was impressed with Keven & his shop & crew . I decided to stay local and have Tint World do the install of the new stereo system . I'm very happy with the sound and appearance on my Porsche 911. Mr. Louis set up the bluetooth set the time and walked me through the whole system . From the factory, my car was equipped with dual horns. When they failed, I bought new horns and had them installed at North Fork imports. N.F.I. customer relations are terrible. So... when their work began to fail, I went to Tint World Riverhead. Naturally, I wanted my horns to function correctly. One of the two horns was dead. The other was half dead. One hour of labor later, Tint World tells me my horns are "New York State compliant". They didn't properly correct the problem. I had to walk them through how to properly fix my horns. I bought another pair of horns for them to install. I (the customer) had to suggest using a relay that would provide more power to the horns. In other words, I had to school Tint World on how to properly repair my horns. So... instead of a $185 bill for shoddy "service" rendered, I then had a $425 bill for shoddy "service" rendered. STAY AWAY FROM TINT WORLD ! ! ! read more

Waited for over 2 hours in the hot sun to get pics taken for Carco for my insurance. **SAVE YOURSELF! DON'T GO HERE!**. The guy is unbelievably rude, arrogant, and apathetic. He refuses to even write down names on a list to keep track of whose turn it is next. I would not wish for anyone I know to have to put up with a 2 hour wait when there are only 2 people in front of you. And it's more his attitude than anything. He provides a necessary service, that I will drive someplace else for next time. read more

I don't know how reviews could say that Kevin was anything less than phenomenal! He helped my family and me install our equipment and guided us through the whole process. He kept in constant contact with us through the installation and genuinely cared about our business. I will not go to Midas! I will not go to Firestone. They Installed speakers, amp, sub. Damaged my sheet metal by using a pry bar to move plastic kick plate, Didn't Velcro amp to carpet as requested, they did not reattach the kick plate molding, extremity careless. Simple install took two days. read more

I went here for a insurance inspection. I never met a ruder counter person. (Kevin)Told me I had to come back in an hour that they don't do it till 10. I politely said " You should let the insurance company know as they are telling people 8-6pm." his response (Nasty) "Nobody tells anyone anything." I then said I'd wait. He said "I am not coming out to get you." I wouldn't come here to buy a candy bar. There other location has nothing but 1 star reviews. Maybe being new to Riverhead they should reevaluate their customer service. Horrible. In reference to the response below (William aka Kevin). Just got photo inspection done, in an out in under 20 minutes. Dude couldn't have been nicer. A few other people in shop waiting for cars. Told to have a seat, had a cup of coffee, was done before i finished the coffee. Will definitely be back. read more

I'm not the "review leaving " type , however because of my exceptional experience at this new local business, I will do exactly that. In a nut shell, I brought my new vehicle to Tint World in riverhead to have my windows tinted , rims n tires upgraded and to have a remote start installed. I have to say that the guy up front was cool and down to earth and set me up with exactly what I wanted and at a reasonable price. He introduced me to the guys that were going to be working on my car and he showed me the amazing shop and I was very impressed and at ease. Everything came out awesome and I couldn't be happier with my experience there. Thanks to all the employees that helped me there and I will surely be back for more upgrades and all of my oil changes and mechanical work in the future . read more
