I had XPEL for windows & Paint Protection Film (PPF) installed on two of my cars, a Range Rover and a Tesla, at Tint World in Spring, TX, and started having issues with PPF peeling within 6 months on BOTH my vehicles. These products supposedly have a LIFETIME REPLACEMENT WARRANTY, however due to the poor workmanship at the Spring, Oakhurst location, the warranty claim was denied by XPEL. When I approached them, I was told that it had been installed incorrectly by previous owners and I was quoted $719 for the bumper on the Tesla and $229 PER mirror on the Range Rover to redo what their location had done incorrectly!! Shame on them! I called Tint World on 3115 Fondren Rd, Houston, TX 77063, and the Owner, Joe, redid the terrible work done by the Spring location at no charge!!! Joe is truly a classy gentleman who fixed their screw up at no charge. I recommend his location with no reservations whatsoever. I do not recommend any work at the Oakhurst, Spring location. DRIVE TO THE FONDREN TINT WORLD!! You won't regret it! read more

My first review was of Tint World on Fondren road is currently on Google so I am leaving another here on YELP. This business has exceeded my expectations and here is why. After installing an under glow light kit on my Dodge Challenger I experienced a car battery failure after leaving the car parked un driven for 10 days. TW nor myself realized that the Blue Tooth module continually searched for my cell phone app signal thus running the battery completely down to the point that I had to replace it. I took the car back to TW the next day and they repaired it with a switch, rewiring, a bypass, and another BT module at no cost and learned from that "mistake " thus going forward all light system installation will need a shut off switch. Not only lesson learned but corrected to excellent customer satisfaction! I highly recommend anyone interested in adding any of the numerous services that TW offers to their vehicle to take to them. I approved a $25 difference to remove tint already on my windows but not $95 worth. Felt really taken advantage of. Make sure to ask for pricing prior to them starting the work. The first time I visited this car wash, it was because I didn't know how to properly clean my windshield, and I'm very particular about clean windows and windshields. I chose this place due to the high ratings and detailed explanations they provided after I booked the service online. I opted for the "basic cleaning" package for both interior and exterior, without liquid wax. Since my windshield had stubborn stains I couldn't remove, I asked them to split the service into two visits due to the bad weather that day. They did an excellent job on the interior! Even though my car had quite a few decorations, they carefully moved them to clean more thoroughly. The first time they returned my car, I wasn't completely satisfied, so I asked them to clean the windows and windshield again. They were very friendly, checked the car with me, and ensured everything was spotless before I left. I was very impressed! When the weather improved, I returned to complete the exterior cleaning, and they didn't disappoint. I was very pleased with the service. Because of this positive experience, I returned yesterday for another wash with the same "basic cleaning" package. However, this time I was a bit disappointed. I probably didn't clearly specify that I wanted the windows and windshield to be thoroughly cleaned with no dust or streaks. They did a good job, but the windows still had dirt from rain and dust, even fingerprints. I had to speak with a staff member, but there was some misunderstanding when I pointed out the spots that weren't clean, and he reminded me that with the basic package, they couldn't make my car shine like new. I understood and wasn't complaining about the exterior, just the windows. They sent someone else to clean them again, but it still wasn't up to my expectations. After going back a second time to report the issue, I found that the windshield still had some fine dust. Not wanting to be seen as overly picky, and since it was very sunny and I had already gone back twice, I accepted the job and left. I understand that the "basic cleaning" package costs $69 without liquid wax, plus service fees totaling $80.90. Despite this, I still have a good impression of this place because of their friendliness and the excellent service they provided on my first visit. The space is comfortable, and their music choices keep customers entertained while waiting. The service is very good, though the price is a bit high. However, after my second experience, I was left disappointed. I haven't tried their other services yet, but you can check other reviews or book online, as they offer detailed explanations and will text you for easier communication before your appointment. They also send email reminders so you won't forget your appointment. They did a good job as for with the window tint, but I will REALLY see it and know a few weeks from now. I wasn't very happy with the mess that was left in my car, but I understand and realize some jobs are just dirty- just clean up behind yourself and things will be a lot better. I was also a little concerned and uncomfortable when I had to be dropped off in my own car in which someone drove my car back to the shop. I thought that they had a company vehicle that takes people home so that they will not have to wait for their cars there, but that wasn't the case. My initial windshield showed some bubbles and dust under the film after a few days. I took my car back in and it took a little over 4 hours to redo my tint. Great service, amazing communication and over and beyond when it came to my personal satisfaction and comfort throughout my entire interaction at their establishment. Poor I went in for a headlight restoration. Yes they restored my headlights to a better condition. However when they buffed out my headlights they buffed out and left scratches on my paint on my car around my headlight. I did not notice it until I wash off all they're dust once I went through the car wash. They should be more careful and tape around the headlights so they did not damage the vehicles paint or scratch your car. read more

Made an appointment, arrived on time, the lady did her job, being really nice and informed me of the upgrades to tinting my F150. I had a new driver window replaced, so it needed tint. Ahe upgraded me to Ceramic Tint, which made, "Total Sense"....Lifetime Warranty, and the price was only $20 more per window. If I ever get "any" issue with the tint, it is replaceable at No Cost, No brainer. It took about an hour, they bumped me up since I only needed a 2 window tint job. They had a pleasant area to sit and wait, a few places within 2 blocks to eat or whatever your fancy, if you don't want to sit and wait. When it was all done and I deove away, in this Texas summer, I touched my window from the inside, and it felt cool to the touch....WOW, Ceramic is awesome!
