I don't give 1 star reviews lightly but here is a well deserved one. Brought a brand new 2023 Audi in for tint with 7 miles on it. New tint installed. 1st week i noticed scratches on the tint. brought it back... Jeff(The owner) had visitors who fabricated a story about some cleaning track in the door card that was dirty and that i should take it to the dealership. The dealership said that is total nonsense and explained no such part existed. Returned to tint world to explain and they said they'd fix. When i arrived they started giving me a hard time and making the experience uncomfortable. Jeff, arriving 5 minutes late for the appointment, couldn't be bothered to get out of his chair and examine the vehichle so he sent his tech out. It is clear tint world does NOT know how to install tint on frameless windows. They do no prep to ensure the tint will not be damaged. There was no disclaimer or notification that frameless windows could be damaged the very first time you wind them down if the installation is not done properly. Tint world installs the product with zero consumer notification on the perils that await because of the improper installation. their installation tech's words to me were " I don't know." I agree - they do not know. At this point ---- Tint world is ignoring inquiries to rectify of which I've made half a dozen over the course of the week. I'm a Florida native and have been going to tint world for 30 years.. not anymore though..... Even if they offered to fix it for free I'd never bring my car or anyone's car that I cared about to this location. Unprofessional. Rude. Poor quality. AVOID THE COCONUT CREEK AND BOCA RATON FRANCHISE LOCATIONS: I'm leaving a one star review because the franchise owner is truly off his rocker. I had service performed at the Boca Raton location including XPEL PF, Tint, Blackvue Dashcam, and Ceramic coating on two new luxury vehicles. Overall, I was satisfied with the service and products provided. Two days later I noticed a large bubble in the PF along a curve in the bumper, called the location and was asked to bring it by. Upon visualizing the vehicle at the Boca Raton location, the technician insisted that the PF needed to be re-cut and re-applied to the entire bumper. They explained that the employee who applied the PF lived in Tampa (hundreds of miles away) and he would contact us shortly when the technician was going to be in town to get the vehicle scheduled for repair. Over the next month and a half, where I contacted them weekly, they only returned my call once to schedule me (late on a Tuesday evening and I returned their call promptly on Thursday morning). Unfortunately, I was told the installer was no longer in the area. Finally, after more phone calls, the local technicians "escalated" us to the franchise owners. The franchise owners DEMANDED pictures of the bubbled PF, VIN number of vehicle and lots of other information that had already been provided to the BOCA RATON location where the work had been performed. All this information was also available on their original estimate and invoice. After providing this information multiple times, I was finally told that they would fix the vehicle but only if I traveled to the COCONUT CREEK location on a date of their choosing. After dropping off my car to the COCONUT CREEK location (significantly further from my home), I returned to pick it up 3 days later. Upon entering the shop, my wife and I were verbally accosted by the owner, and berated for apparently mentioning to his wife that their customer service was not up to our expectations (returning phone calls). He proceeded to seethe and scream at us for 10 minutes while we patiently just repeatedly requested that he return our car. Even as we walked out the door, he was still threateningly screaming at us. This franchisee obviously has some serious anger issues (read the many other similar reviews posted here) and I would encourage others NOT to interact with him in fear that he may turn physically violent. This was an overall disappointing experience. I had two appointments with this shop for jobs that should take 1-2 hours max. Both appointments were at 10AM, and both days Jeff said that they were running behind from jobs that were incomplete from the day before... not sure why that should take priority over my appointment. What even is the point of having an appointment then? That is not good business at all. Regardless, instead of having me leave and bring my car back at a better time, both days my car was there until the shop closed. Jeff was just finishing up a little after 6pm... so realistically I could've had my car all day and brought it to him much later or on a different day completely if that had worked better, but this is when he said he had availability when I scheduled the appointment. I also ended up paying more than what I was told over the phone, which I'm now seeing from other reviews that this is a common complaint. Hmm... All of this was very unprofessional, but the absolute cherry on top: as I'm on my way home - not even 15 minutes after leaving the shop, Jeff had the audacity to CALL ME and rudely accuse me of leaving a negative review for his shop... claiming that it was uncalled for when he worked on my car after hours. Again, I had an appointment at 10AM. I tried explaining to him that not only am I still driving home and could not have possibly left a review so quickly, but that even if I had it would be completely inappropriate for him to call me and confront me about it. He hung up on me in an angry fit, and ironically, guaranteed a negative review from me. read more

I was sold a wrap job to cover my $65k truck including door jams. The original job was never finished and was done horribly!! When I asked them to just take it off (because the work was so poorly done) they messed up the original paint job, broke my back up camera, didn't put my car back together the right way, still left the wrap in hard to get areas, lost my Infiniti emblem on the back of my truck AND THEY HAD IT FOR 6 WEEKS! I went out of town for 3 weeks and left them my car, they didn't give it back for 3 more weeks after I returned!! I had to pay out of pocket for a rental for part of the time. I expected it to be completely unwrapped and put back together but what I got was a mess. I spent almost $4000 on this and basically the owner Jeff told me there was nothing he could do. ***I HATE LIARS AND NEGLIGENT SERVICE. SPEND SOME TIME READING THIS TO SAVE TIME AND STRESS FROM LIFE. On 11/27/2020, from the dealership with my new car, I went to Tint World to have my windshield tinted, and they messed it up. There was an obvious crease in the tint on the driver's side. The TINT EXPERT also tinted over adhesive from a sticker I removed from the inside of the windshield at the dealership. This told me that he didn't clean the glass before starting the job. I was told to come in the morning for the tint redo because it was the end of the day. 3 HOURS WASTED. I walked across the street to Walmart for a couple of hours during the tint job. When I got back, I was told the "European styling" of my car has a windshield with a unique curve, so this is why their having issues. Scratches, creases, and putting tint on an uncleaned window are not glass curvature issues. That's because of negligence. When the work was done, everything seemed ok, so I went home. As I was driving, I noticed the image of my Heads Up Display looked a bit blurry with a line going through the numbers. I thought it would go away after a few days once the adhesive dried, so I ignored it for a few days. There were also a few other defects, none of which went away after the adhesive dried. 3 HOURS WASTED. I called Tint World's corporate office in Boca Raton. After a few unsuccessful attempts at reaching Customer Service, I hit the Sales/Franchise option, and JACKPOT! A guy answered and gave me two names and numbers to call regarding my issue. I called the first guy, John, and asked about possibly taking my car to another store. He told me that I had to get the work redone at the same store or get a refund, because each store is privately owned. I called Tint World, spoke to Jeff to schedule a third attempt to redo the work, and he said they would need 4-5 hours to remove the tint, clean the glass, and reapply new tint. He also told me that the TINT EXPERT was no longer with them, and that their new guy would get the job right, this time. So much for promises. I also called 4 different locations to ask how long it would take to remove my old tint, clean the glass, and reapply new tint to only a windshield, and the most time needed was 2 hours. I called John's corporate office number again, and a guy named Scott answered. I explained the 4-5 hour time needed for one windshield, and he even said it was "...a lot of time." But he went on to say, "Maybe they just want the extra time to ensure that the job was done as perfect as possible." An extra 2-3 hours is a lot. Ok. On 12/11/2020 at 8 AM, I get to the store to find a few people waiting outside, one of which was the NEW TINT EXPERT/DISK JOCKEY. He had a duffle bag and a pump sprayer, so I put 2 and 2 together and asked him if he was the NEW TINT EXPERT. He said yes. I asked how long has he tinted windows, and he said 25 years, and that he also DJs. TMI. He might be better at DJ'ing, because his 25 years of tinting experience didn't amount to anything for one windshield tint job. 3 hours in, the OLD TINT EXPERT shows up to assist the NEW TINT EXPERT/DISK JOCKEY. At this point I realized Jeff was FOS for claiming to have gotten rid of this guy. I'm told that they made 2 attempts, but the curve of the windshield caused it to crease, and they were going to try again. 2 hours later I go outside to get my car, and the first thing I see are a crease and deep scratch in the tint on the driver's side. I parked my car, go inside, and game on. Jeff didn't want to give me a refund, but as soon as I mentioned the scratch in the exterior of the windshield glass, where they were measuring and cutting the tint before applying it inside the car, he immediately said he'd refund my money, started removing the tint, and took my car to the back to clean the windshield. 5 1/2 HOURS WASTED **TOTAL: 11 1/2 HOURS OF MY LIFE WASTED WAITING, AND THEY NEVER CLEANED UP AFTER ANY OF THE WORK THEY DID. IF YOU NEED TINTING, FIND ANOTHER TINT WORLD STORE. THIS ONE IS GARBAGE. read more

I would've gave it zero start but unfortunately that's not an option. I visit the coconut creek located on Hillsboro and 441. The prices at this place are so over priced is crazy!!!! There are better places at amazing prices (for example, superior tints in Boca it's hard to give that place lower the a five starts. And they come with a lifetime warranty!) The first time I went there was to get my tints done on my Dodge Charger R/T. The prices are so expensive and overpriced my bank called me personally and said don't do it! I left immediately! I came back to see if they can restore my headlight they couldn't even fix them completely but they did make it better then it was so I give them that. Any other problems I faces is when I was in the lady behind the desk was on a personal call and had to wait 5 minutes. The only reason I went to them is because they are right around the corner of my house but other then that I would never went. I'm not a business man what so ever and I'm only judging on what I see and what I hear from my friends ( which came in the get a subs put in and said to me " The prices was fu**ing crazy. ") But there is nobody there nobody goes there I had to wait 1 and a half and they had no customer besides me. Which to me speck volume. Living in Coconut creek for 18 years, I discovered this new Tint World shop on West Hillsborro a few months ago. Apparently they have been open for almost a year. I had intentions in stopping by another Tint World place in Boca near my work. But this shop is right around the corner and being my time is precious, it was convenient I went down to the shop On Feb 10, 2019. The shop itself was very nice and clean. I spoke with Jeff and Damien and explained 4 tasks that I needed done to my cars and my home. Beware the "lifetime" warranty scam offered by Mr. Moolevliet at tint world. They will come up with anything to avoid doing free work. During my first visit he was very hesitant with dealing with the warranty and seemed to try to deter me. 3 of my 5 windows had bubbles/cracks so they said only the 3 will be replaced, I said fine. Then he said he only had tints of lighter shades so I'll have 2 different shades of tints in my car. Again I said fine and he told me to come back another day when it's sunnier for the back windshield. Second visit they took my car and 6 hours later called saying the windows are not covered by the warranty cause I have used a cleaning product with chemicals that's causing the cloudiness/haziness. He also said that the tint in the photo I posted were purple. Are they? I haven't cleaned those windows for years so I knew he was full of it. Got home and with a wet rag I wiped away the "ammonium" that reacted with my window. No integrity or honor in his word so be careful with the lifetime warranty cause he can say anything that will void it. read more
