After looking around for a reliable shop with quality films in my area, I found Tint Tech. Ti provided the quote quickly and kept the appointment exactly as scheduled. I went in to drop the car off and it was in the shop immediately. The shop was clean and organized as it should be so I knew the car was in good hands. I asked for ceramic film for better heat rejection over the carbon film, 35 rear, and 50 front (not knowing any better on the shades). Ti recommended 25 rear since stock Toyota already comes with 25 and it would be cooler for the kids in the back. I ended going with 25 rear, 35 front. Ti said the car will be done in two hours, and when I got back it was in front of the shop waiting for me. I'm really glad I found this shop. Awesome customer service with quality work and film. read more

The tint that was done on my pops FJ cruiser was perfect. There are no bubbling or fibers in the tint. I've always used this shop for my other cars and I haven't been disappointed yet. As far as quality goes, the tint that was done previously on my WRX, is still holding up perfectly and that's why I'll always get tints done here. I knew I had to get tint done on my car when I found out the windows were "privacy glass" and not tint (for my babygirl.) After tons of Yelp searches, I decided to go with Tint Tech because they had a 5 star rating, the price was affordable, and (from photos) a lot of work done on Teslas! Tee was so sweet on the phone and in person! I arrived a little late to my appt because of traffic but he was very understanding and got straight to work. He explained the different type of shades and gave recommendations, which I really appreciated! You can tell he's very passionate about his work so I felt at ease putting my total trust in him. Didn't think I can fall more in love with my Tesla until today! Thank you Tee for the amazing job! Love the end results. read more

To re-do my tint, I called a few different tinting places in San Jose and Tint Tech was the most responsive along with having reasonable prices and friendly service. In the past, I had my Honda Civic Sedan's rear windows tinted to 5% at a different company and it made it much too difficult to drive at night due to the percentage of light allowed in and the quality of the film. I explained to T (Tee maybe?) my issue and he was able to help me choose a tint percentage that aligned more to my goals. I did not feel rushed nor upsold during our conversation and really appreciated his genuine advice and insight. We settled on 25% light allowed in for the back windows so I could meet Seattle tinting laws, which was important to me (this also takes into account the factory tint that was already on the base window). This place also use 3M for the tinting brand, which is higher quality than most tint brands. After getting my windows redone I noticed a significant difference in the glass clarity beyond just the percentage of light that was being allowed in. read more

Quick reply, friendly service, fair pricing, easy to get an appointment and easy to communicate with. Thank you!

I requested a quote back in July 2021 for my new Tesla Model 3 LR white interior. T was responsive, providing a competitive price - and a bit more affordable - compared to other Bay Area tint shops. I wasn't in a rush to get the tint done so flash forward to Jan 2022, I finally decide that it's time. I reached out again to T, and he responded almost immediately with his earliest availability. T told me it would take 3.5 hours for the installation. I booked the appointment the same day I reached out. I had an idea for the tint level I wanted but wasn't sure yet because of the white interior. I expressed concerns on the tint being too dark that the white interior wasn't noticeable, or too light that it didn't make sense to install a tint at all. T was informative and helpful. He mentioned that with a white interior, you should go darker than what you originally want. T also mentioned that he installed a 5% tint on a Tesla with white interior and that you could still see through the windows. He brought out 2 rolls of a 15% and 20% 3M Ceramic tint, showing me how it would look over the side windows. It was around 2:30pm during my appointment so there was still a decent amount of sun reflecting on the car. Depending on the angle of where you're looking in and where the sun hits the car, more light shines through. With the 15%, you could see the white interior still. I decided on the 15% for the side and rear windows. (Note: T does the rear window in 1 full piece!) T had the car done by 5pm -- 30 minutes earlier than expected. The picture was taken around 5pm when I went to pick up the car. Less light outside so the tint looks darker than it would in the daytime. The entire experience and how my windows came out was 5/5 stars. T was cooperative and responsive. He's done plenty of Tesla tint installations so I knew my car was in good hands. TLDR; T is easy to work with and gets the job done efficiently and seamlessly. Go get your Tesla tinted by T. read more

Got a couple of quotes on Yelp to get a price estimate on how much it would cost to tint my 2020 Honda Civic, and I HAD to go with Tint Tech because of the pics, reviews, and the responsiveness of T. It was easy to book an appointment and get the tinting done. The job itself took about an hour and I was the last appointment of the day! The owner is very nice and professional. I got 18% in the front and 5% in the back and it's just BEAUTIFUL!! You just have to be sure to not roll the windows down for about 2-3 days (I made sure to not roll them down for a week--just in case) AND it comes with a lifetime warranty. What else could you want? He takes card and provides you with a receipt at the end too! read more

Came here to remove my existing tint since it had bubbled and to install their 3M film on all my side windows and back window. The job took about 2.5 hours (on the Sunday before Labor Day Weekend) I had my car washed and vacuumed before dropping it off. When I got there, my car was already outside and it looked great. The tint looked good. However, when I opened up my car, there were water marks (from the steamer he used) all over my back seats (leather) and on the sides of my doors. Later, I noticed water had dripped inside my trunk and glue residue everywhere. I would think he put some towels over my car seat or wipe them but nope! I didn't say anything because what was I suppose to say? "Did you not clean my car?" I let it go since I didn't think it was a big deal. However, I noticed it much more when I got home. Paid for everything via card. No questions. Then when as I got in my car and started it, the engine won't turn on! I tried turning on and off my car it wouldn't start. The guy causally comes back and asks "Your car won't start? Try turning it on and off again" which I did, and nothing. I was so confused because my car was running fun and had no issues. Then he tries to blame me for not changing my car battery? LOL. My car was perfectly fine when I dropped it off. Then he finally decides to tell the truth- mentions that he had my car on the whole entire time he was working on it, it had stopped earlier and had to jump it. He goes back to get a battery to jump my car then my car started running again. He reassures me that my car would be up and running by the next day since my car system need to restart. I went straight home because I was afraid my car wouldn't start if I stop by somewhere. There are still water marks and glue in my car that I couldn't get rid off. Now I'm looking for a place to detail my car to get it cleaned properly. TLDR: Tint was good. Left water mark and glue everywhere in my car. He pretended he didn't run my battery dry. read more

Wowwwww!!! Talk about great customer service, excellent tint installation with quality 3M materials. As someone who has had their cars tinted countless times, I'd have to say my experience with TI has been one of the best. Why you ask? 1. Great communicator 2. Patient 3. Fit me in same day within 3 hours and moved around appointments to get me in on my tight timeline 4. Explained everything throughly and gave me different tint contrast options 5. Lifetime warranty on the tint (discoloration and separation) 6. PRICING! He beat all his competitors on pricing!! Bay Area is already overpriced and overrated so it's nice to get a good deal and not feel ripped off. Long review short, if you want a quality tint job by an awesome person go see TI! Trust me you'll thank me later. FYI - I got my M4 tinted so I'm extremely cautious who does work on my car. Thanks TI!!!! read more

Service 5/5 Quality of work 4.5/5 Price 4/5 02 Subaru Wrx Wagon. 5% rear, 35% front sides, 70% windshield. Took roughly 2.5 hours, exactly what he estimated. Only gripe is the front windshield tint has some unevenness, discovered on my drive home. Some lightly undulations in certain areas. unsure if the cause is the windshield it self, the tint or if the surface wasn't cleaned thoroughly enough. Will update if tint on the windshield bubbles or gets worse. all the other windows looks great. 5/5. Great work on my Tesla model 3. Went 25% all around 3M ceramic tints. Would recommend Tee

[REVIEW WRITTEN: 8/26/21] Independent tinting services do not have the best ratings, but Tee services are EPIC! Before I wrote this review I wanted to wait a month to see how the tint has held up to the elements. Needless to say, I'M PUMPED! The Deets: ++ If you end up with any of the 3M films, you have a lifetime warranty. Tee will register your film directly with 3M and you will receive an email directly from 3M. If the film bubbles, you can take it to any 3M dealer to get it fixed. Such a confidence builder to purchase through Tee. + As soon as I sat in my car, I could notice a HUGE difference in temperature in my car. Pumped for this service. + Free Wi-Fi - worked from his facility, even took a video conference call and did not cut out at any point in time. + I decided to do all 5 windows of my car and this was completed in 1.5 hours. Speedy service. + Booked directly through Yelp/messaging with Tee. + Check-in with Yelp & receive 5% off. Keep up the hard, amazing work Tee! read more

I have been going to Tint Tech for many years now for all my car tinting needs. The owner takes pride in his field of work and the end result speaks volumes. I got my windows tinted from a place that did my former honda fit. I thought if i went back there, they would provide the same quality they did with my honda fit. They screwed me over, and didnt follow what i really wanted. I asked to have my rear windows the darkest they had but when they were done, they told me that my interior was hella nice that they wanted it to "pop out" so they didnt go dark. When i asked them that i didnt like that, they charged me again to fix it. I am thankful that Tee from Tint Tech hooked it up. He overlay the tint that the other guy did and made it the darkest! He said that the previous guy had the rear windows at about 11% when i specifically asked for 5% then. Tee did a great job, no bubbles and my rear and back windows look legit! My car felt a little cooler. He charged me $325 for the rear and back windows. The price was reasonable but im definitly coming back for the glass roof! He also responds fairly quick and no BS. Recommending Tee to all my friends, family and to my Tesla peeps! read more

Excellent job. Tinting was well applied. First time having my windows tinted. Would definitely use him again.

After reading all the great reviews I was really looking forward to getting my tints done here. It was a little on the higher price compared to other places, but due to the great reviews I figured why not? I made an appointment through Yelp (the owner was quick to reply). The entire process took a couple hours to complete. When I picked up my car it was getting dark outside so I didn't get a chance to examine the work until the next morning. The next morning, I noticed some imperfections on some of the tint. The rear window tint had a cut on the tint that was noticeable from both sides and it also had bubbles. The driver side had a small particle of hair trapped between the window and the tint that was noticeable. Also, on the two small rear passenger windows there was light coming through the corner. There were also water marks on the side panels, I think from the water they need to spray on the tint/window. I wish he could have protected the side panels better as there are electrical components in them. I contacted the owner and he was willing to take a look at the imperfections and fix any problems which I appreciated. I just wish everything had been done correctly the first time so that I nor the owner would have to go back and waste our time. I did notice that he is the only one working on the cars so perhaps he is overbooked and he tries to finish cars on time, thus sacrificing the quality? I'm sad to say that I won't be recommending nor using his service again. Also, there are still some small bubbles in the back window, barely noticeable but they are there. For paying $400+ I would have wanted better quality. read more

First timer here at Tint Tech. Messaged T through Yelp. He responded fast and helped get me in on a short notice yesterday. Took my 03 Silverado Crew Cab in to get all windows tinted except the windshield. After discussing with T on what to go with, I ended up going with the 3M Ceramic IR 15% for the fronts & 50% over the factory privacy glass on the rears. Great pricing & lifetime warranty for the film I went with. Dropped it off at 5pm then went to eat dinner and came back around 7pm to pick it up. The tints came out super clean and just how I wanted it. It was pretty much an even match all around after checking it with the tint meter. Much respect to T for helping a brotha out! My man does super clean work and answers all the questions you got. Chill dude. Will be recommending him to my family & friends. Was recommended this spot by a friend who had went here. Called Tee and was given a good quote. It was already better than a few other places I had called prior. I made the appointment with him right then and there. There are 3 levels of tint. I was recommended the 3M ceramic since it is really good quality and keeps heat out really well. I opted for 70% windshield with a 15% visor, 25% on the sides and 15% on the back. The job was done in 2.5 hours and looked amazing.
