I've had these guys tint two of my vehicles so far, and will likely use them again. They work quickly, and complete the work within the time window planned. The installation quality is 2nd to none. I prefer the Llumar FormulaOne Pinnacle & Stratos product lines due to their performance superiority. Not all window films (tints) are created equal, and you get what you pay for. These guys are the only dealer certified to carry and install the Llumar FormulaOne products in Utah, where as the lower end Llumar products can be sold and installed by many other shops. Very disappointed. Such a waste of time! I scheduled my truck to be tinted and discussed with Trevor what I wanted and he gave me a quote. Price was fair and quality of the film came recommended. However, when I showed up to drop off my truck, they told me they would not tint my windows to my desired darkness, 5% on all sides and 20-35 on windshield. They said they could do it a 20% but with no warranty. As for the windshield, they would only tint to 50%. Kid at front desk is has as much personality and communication skills as a goldfish. It's their business and they can run it how they like, but I don't appreciate the time wasted and gas money spent to drive over there x 2 for my wife and myself. Tint Specialists did an amazing job applying a full Xpel wrap to my Jeep Gladiator. I wanted the Xpel to extend down behind my fender flares as the late model Jeep's have a small gap between the fender flares and the fender that can get dirt and grime in them which, over time, will eat at the paint. Tint specialists was extremely accommodating and allowed me to remove my flares at the shop the day before my appointment. Then there's the installation itself. Steve did such a great job installing that I could barely tell there was anything on the Truck! Where there are seams, of which there are only a couple, they were extremely well done, and you have to look hard and know where they are to see them. On the body panel edges Steve wrapped the Xpel around the panel edge so the material edge was behind and out of sight. The installation quality is absolutely incredible with no visible flaws, bubbles, etc that I've been able to find. Thanks Steve and Tint Specialists for a job well done. I emailed to get a quote on a custom tint "Llumar AT35GN" to match the stock tints on my Touareg. I received a quote within 24 hours and was told they ordered the film for stock and would be available within 7 days. This was much quicker than all the other shops, many of whom said it would take at least 2 weeks. The problem is that when I went to have Safety/IM done, the windshield tint was too low to pass. I was hoping to take it in and have them trim the tint a few inches. I called to make an appointment and all seemed well until I mentioned what I needed. The guy on the phone quickly started to back-pedal. He said he was busy all day and I'd have to come back in a few days when he had time to do it. He magically didn't have time for me. I ended up just peeling the tint off my window. HORRIBLE! This place has the worst customer service I have ever had the dis pleasure of experiencing! I purchased a gift certificate for my daughters birthday gift to have her car windows tinted. The 'owner' of the company took my call, processed the gift certificate and scheduled my appointment. My daughter showed up on the day of her appointment and was approached with unfriendly people accusing us of no showing our appointment. DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!! My son had his Trans Am windows tinted here, and I have never seen a job so HORRIBLE! The tint was pealing off his back window in less than a month, there is dirt between the film and the window, the Driver side tint is chipping away. My son returned the car to have them fix it and they refused. He bought a coupon off of Groupon and they woulnd't honor that either. HORRIBLE JOB. I recently took my car to Pro Tint in Sandy, and they did an amazing job. My son is taking his Trans Am there this next week, and I know they will do an awsome job for him. I can not review the installation of tint or paint protection film for my new car. However, I can relay my experience of a recent in-person visit. I made a trip to their location in Murray around 3:00 P.M. I hoped to get pricing on Xpel Ultimate Self Healing film, the only film referenced on their website and answers about installation time. I did not get pricing for the Xpel film, I was told the only product they use is another brand. I was also quoted an turnaround time of "about two hours" to apply the "ultimate" package. This is significantly shorter than other retailers by two to three hours.The person answering my questions appeared annoyed at my visit and abrupt. Based on the disjointed information (website and in-person) and the surly response by the staff, I am looking for retailer who installs the product I want, and recognizes that I am a customer, not a nuisance. read more

I got a quote from them for Formula One tint on my Audi RS3 and Subaru WRX STI. Steve was on top of it and emailed me back a very fair quote on a special they are running this month. A little better than California prices and he seems to know his products. I brought my car in....I really thought I asked for a quote on ceramic tint. Formula One ceramic tint. Nope...I was given the quote on the Formula One classic which wasn't ceramic. I search through my email chain and it was my bad for not specifying ceramic tint. I've visited three times, and each time the service was quick. One time they were obviously swamped, and a little abrupt, but still polite. Both cars they've done have come out meeting my expectations, and give clear instructions on how to ensure you get the best results out of it. They apply stickers to the driver's window buttons that are bright, telling you to not roll them down; if you ask, they are happy to give you extra for your others. The only thing I noticed that I was not happy with is a solution that was covering my passenger side door that took a bit to clean up. The quality of the pinnacle has been great, I noticed an immediate temperature reduction, and my car that had trouble keeping up the AC on hot days was able to get it done. My hybrid turns off the engine and recirculates the inside air at stoplights, and is much more bearable. Edit: I noticed some white circles under the tint today and brought it back. They explained what it was and took the car back to try to get them out. He said if I still wasn't happy after the weekend they could replace it for free under the warranty. read more

Got my front two windows done in Llumar Pinnacle. Install was fast and high quality. Heat reduction in vehicle was great. Problem is that after drying it didn't look like the right shade. Tint can be hard to eyeball so I went back and asked if they could double check with the meter so I wouldn't obsess over it. They immediately got defensive but they did bring the meter out. The shade was in fact wrong, but he just left in a huff saying he didn't have to deal with this. Maybe he was just having a bad day but definitely won't be coming back. read more

I called Tint Specialists and talked to Steve, I'm not very knowledgeable about tint and Steve helped me out with all of my questions and needs and we settled on what worked best for me. I went with the formula one tint, the classic. That worked best for my budget and my needs. Installation was very fast only about an hour, and I waited in their waiting room for it, very comfy couches, and nice TV to keep me intertained. The tint came out great! I wish I could give a lower rating. I bought a 2016 Subaru WRX 2016 On Wednesday. I had ordered this vehicle months ago. After picking it up I brought to these guys Thursday. When instilling my tint they put a 3 inch tear in my leather seat. The person I talked to tried to tell me it wasn't a cut. That it was a "scratch". you can see/feel how it's been cut. And not to mention They left the car filthy with water marks fingerprint and windex on every surface. And some of the tint was cut out horribly and you can see strands hanging. When I called and complained about the seat being the first thing I noticed after I left about 1 and a half later. they had me drive back played the whole game that it wasn't cut then referred me to someone who they said will make it "look like new"... My car was new when I trusted it to you for an hour. Their had only been 2 people who had driven it at that point since it left the dealership... The technician and myself.
