Amazing job! Doug is a nice, accommodating and professional guy. My car windows look fantastic, the tint job he did is perfection. DO NOT listen to the whiners with negative reviews it's their issue. This was by far the easiest tint job I have ever had, Doug made it easy to make my appointment (literally within a couple days) the tint was done at my house which made it super convenient, and he was very knowledgeable on his products. My windows were meticulously tinted by Doug he paid attention to every little detail with the windows, also honored a price he quoted me months ago despite the fact that his prices for product have gone up, super nice guy. Thanks Doug!!! read more

Doug is the best of the best. He does meticulous, thorough tint jobs and really knows his craft and is super skilled. He did many of my parents cars several years ago and even did my car for my 16th birthday 20 years ago. When my new Ford Edge needed a tint job I was super pleased to know that he was still tinting windows after all these years and that he was local to me. He was able to do my car in his garage within a couple days of me contacting him and it looks amazing! There are a ton of people out there who tint windows and claim that their work is good, but no one does it as great as Doug. Thanks again! read more

Doug at Tint Perfection is just that; perfect. He is totally professional and nobody does it better. He is a perfectionist and it is always reflected in his work. My windows look amazing. Got the new ceramic tint and it makes such a difference. Trustworthy, on time, and at a reasonable rate. I originally felt bad because something came up and I had to reschedule. He was completely flexible as I gave him more than 24 hours which he explained was his policy, and he scheduled me at a later date. Thanks for the great service Tint Perfection! read more

Five years ago, Doug did a sharp looking car tint that held up perfectly over the years.  Since then, it's been an easy and clear choice to have Doug tint two more cars.  He has a good eye for detail and a high standard of quality.  Makes the time to do things right.  Sound advice on what would get the best value and results.  A strong referral for anyone looking for a tint! read more

I've known Doug and been a customer for over 20 years. Even though most customers wouldn't notice them, the smallest of details have always mattered to Doug, and he has never been one to do substandard work, or use second rate materials. Quality to him is mandatory. Doug is a dedicated professional, and a master of his craft. read more

Between cars for my family, friends, and coworkers, Doug has done at least 15 cars. His quality of work and attention to detail are the best I've ever seen and completely worth the slight price premium. No one I know has ever had any problems with any of his work but even if we did, I can trust that he will address is quickly. Thanks Doug! read more

Doug did our Audi A5 In our garage. He's fairly priced, on time and does a very good job. What's more important is that he came back the next day after we found a few tiny specks of dust that got trapped in the film. The dust is unavoidable unless u do it in a paint shop/clean room. Unlike my previous experiences, Doug fixed them without a fuss. Strongly recommend! read more

Doug has tinted all of my vehicles and just did an outstanding job on my family SUV. I am very particular having been a quality inspector in aerospace. I have had bad tint jobs in the past only to have them redone. I will only use Doug from here on out. Bottom line, you get what you pay for and with Doug it's perfection and a lifetime warranty. read more

Terrible customer service. Made an appointment for tinting my brand new car at my house. The day before, I asked to reschedule or to have the tinting done at the dealership (where dealer was unexpectedly not finished with the final prep on my brand new car and needed it for another day). Doug got all upset at me and thought I was lying to him. He refused to change locations even when I offered to pay him extra and he refused to rescheduled for another day. I tried multiple times to resolve the situation, again asking to reschedule and even paying more, and even apologizing for any inconvenience to him. Nope, he just had major attitude, was mad at me, and totally lacking any understanding. I should've known because when I first called to ask about the tinting options, he had an attitude and belittled me for not knowing exactly how many side windows (5) my new Porsche has (which was at the time not delivered yet). He may be good at tinting (not sure) but belittling customers and acting unprofessionally and rudely is a major turn-off and not a trait of an excellent business. read more

Doug is great !!!! * Excellent tint job * Friendly, knowledgeable and professional * Exceeded overall service I called him to get a quote for my new Yukon!!!! He was cheaper than other places and came to my house and did it that same day!!!! He has a great reputation in orange county and has had for several year!s!!! My husband and all of his friends have been using him for all their tint services since high school!!! Who wants to go and wait somewhere to get their windows tinted when you can have someone come to your home and do the job!!! Also rather than taking short cuts like all the other tint shops he actually removed my door panels and had the tint go all the way down so I could roll my windows down 2 hrs later... :-) He really does go the extra mile and takes the time to do it right the first time!!! He is so easy to recommend !!! You should definitely call him !!! read more

Tint Perfection - Car Window Tinting Near Me - Newport Beach, California

I had just written a pretty bad review of another tint shop and so started looking at other reviewers' comments online. I was intrigued by this Doug guy who comes to your house and does your tint....and it brought back memories from over 15 years ago of a guy that we used when I was much younger- too young to have a car, in fact. But nontheless, a guy that we really liked and whose services were extremely pleased with. Well, Doug, you look the same, just a little older! How weird is that?? When I looked through the pictures posted on here of the cars he's done, I noticed a guy that looked vaguely familiar...until I saw his truck in the background of one of them with the phone number plastered on the tailgate and it all came rushing back! 949.646.TINT, like I should have never forgotten in the first place! This guy rocks, I wish we'd never lost touch or that I'd never forgotten that super easy phone number! I would have never thought to look on here for him...considering that I couldn't remember his name. But thank god I have found him again. LIke others say, not cheap but worth every penny! You will not be disappointed. read more

I've had my first car tinted by Doug at Tint Perfection around 2004. I liked his work so much that I had him tint my house recently and loved his work as well. He came out to do my house but I have gone to his area to have my tint done. Recently I had my second car done and once again, it was done while i kept myself busy. His experience with both automotive and residential tint (and commercial as well) warrants a recommendation to definitely use Tint Perfection. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a high quality tint installation. Even though we both live far away, that's how dedicated I am in using Tint Perfection. Once I deal with a person/company/vendor and had a great experience, I definitely go back as a loyal customer. read more

Already 1 star before i could get a quote. I'm a CUSTOMER who the owner can assume has NO EXPERIENCE in purchasing tint or knowing what types are out there. I sent a message stating i was going to purchase a coupon for window tinting and this Greg "Tint Perfection" (Not customer service perfection) the owner responded pretty much calling other tint store owners "desperate" for using a coupon and that I had him confused with another desperate store..... REALLY? You couldn't go about that another way to potentially earn my business? Come on guy get real..... I'm sure you do great work but please work on your initial responses. Lost business right here. 10 windows needing to be tinted.... I'll find the desperate tint stores i guess. Thanks read more

Doug is the best. He loves what he does, takes pride in his work and does a great job. He tinted my 911 about 8 years ago and I haven't had a problem since. I had him out recently to do our new Tesla and 2 other cars. His work is flawless. He's on time, clean, honest, doesn't try to up sell and genuinely a really nice guy. He comes to you, works on weekends AND his fees are reasonable. Will use him again for sure. read more

I've been in Orange County since 1996 and I found Doug in 2000. He's the only one I'll let tint my company cars and high end cars (6 and counting). He's professional, detailed oriented, and his finishing work is superior than anyone in the industry. Go nowhere else!!! read more

Doug is the best! He tinted my Prius back in 2008, and it's been flawless. Yesterday he did a great job on my 2013 Tesla Model S - it's beautiful! Doug is meticulous, professional, efficient, and has a great eye for detail. He's also patient: He didn't rush me while I was waffling on the "How dark should I tint these doors?" question for quite some time. In fact, he put some sample pieces on the glass and encouraged me to look at it in different light (pulling the car out of the garage into the sun, etc.). Doug's worth seeking out - you won't be disappointed. read more
