Where to start? My…read morewife and I had our tints installed there on Jan 29, 2013. I looked for a while before I decided on their business. I have one other car with Huper Optik tints, and I wanted the same on my new car. We choose Shade Masters because it was the only business in the area with these tints. When we arrived, the place was disgusting with a used diaper laying on the floor. The office area was in shambles. I should have known what I was getting into, but I figured I wasn't paying for ambiance. The wife, Melissa, was there, and she ran us through the choices. We wanted 20%, which isn't legal in VA. She said that we would have to pay cash but that we would still have a full lifetime warranty. When we picked up the car, she wasn't there, but her husband was. I asked about the warranty card, and he said he wasn't sure how that worked as his wife usually handles that. He looked through the MOUNTAINS of paperwork littering the office and eventually said that all we would have to do is log onto Huper's site and enter the dealer code (which he gave to us). When we tried to complete the warranty on the website, it asked for a warranty number. Over the next 4 months, we called Shade Master's no fewer than 6 times trying to get the warranty info. When we talked to Melissa, she said she would talk to the rep and get back to us. If we called after 2pm, she wasn't there. The husband was no help at all and kept referring us to his wife. Finally, at the end of April Melissa told us that since the tints were illegal we would not be able to get the Huper Optik warranty. So, now I've paid $450 for tints (the receipt doesn't even say Huper Optik, so I don't even know what was installed) and I have only the business' warranty (which is no good for me as I'm in the military and move every 3-4 years). We are going to try to contact Huper Optik and the BBB. I WOULD AVIOD THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS!

The area for washing was behind building then they drove it to the front to finish. They removed my floor mats and washed them, Smith Brother's does not do this, and overall clean was good with exception of muddy footprints on my step. Again, comparing to Smith Brother's, they did not 'armor all' my exterior trim or interior applicable surfaces. So for the price they charge for service rendered, I can't recommend them.
