A referral from a good friend led me to Auto Show Offz in Grand Junction. I wanted PPF (Paint…read moreProtective Film) applied to my recent auto purchase and the first clue that this was THE place was how far out they were scheduled. Dropped my car off at 8:30 am sharp (when they open) and returned at 5:00 with an understanding that this is artwork, not auto mechanics and that my car would be close to being done (they close at 5:30). Being a small operation, my car wasn't quite finished and I immediately understood why - they are GOOD! When "Vance" (owner) brought my car around, I was bowled over by how great it looked! This was everything I hoped for - quality work, fairly priced and no shortcuts taken! I'm so glad I chose Auto Show Offz for my car. I owe Vance a pizza (I'm pretty sure he didn't get to eat with as busy as he was) and my friend who referred me to Auto Show Offz at least a couple of beers! If you are an automobile enthusiast and have a special car you wish to preserve and protect - bring it here. You won't be disappointed.

He coordinated with me and my busy schedule and came out to fully diagnose my vehicle and gave me a quote within 24 hours. With the full diagnosis, he let me me know which fixes should be prioritized, how much the parts and labor would be, and how long it would take to fix it. He also was running a special that month that gave me a small percentage off. I was so grateful! He replaced my timing belt and water pump and let me know how long I had on the next fixes that I would need (my car is old, a 2003 Subaru Legacy L with 200k miles, so understandably it had a lot of things that were needed.) Gentry's communication was so prompt, professional, and transparent. I've recommended him to 3 other friends who have needed their cars serviced. Mechanics like him are few and far between. I HIGHLY recommend. Thanks Gentry! You've got a customer for life - that car I have since retired and will be contacting you to look over my new to me/used vehicle soon.

The skid plate had come loose and was flopping around. I was already thinking through how I'd bail on my plans, but it was Nick to the rescue when he squeezed in my car's repair and I was back on schedule before dinner time. Hello: I was happy to find a shop to service my son's car. They made the scheduling and drop-off…read moreeasy and the service was performed quickly. A few months go by and the thermostat that they replaced failed. I contacted them to discuss this issue, but the car was now in the metro Denver area and not near Grand Junction. I had no choice, but to take to car to a local shop (1 .6 miles from my house) as the vehicle was leaking antifreeze profusely and overheating; There was no way for the car to make the 4 hour trip to Grand Junction. I discussed this with Scott's when this occurred initially and the Service Consultant was unaware of any process to follow for warranty other than to bring the vehicle back to their shop. After getting the thermostat replaced by the local shop I followed up with Scott's and after multiple emails and phone calls to discuss their warranty, I was now informed of their process. With this new story, there was no way to rewind what had already been repaired by the local shop. I submitted a copy of the invoice and asked for credit for the repair to be used at their shop in the future and was told that wasn't going to happen. I asked for a manager to call me to discuss this further and have yet to receive a call back after multiple calls and emails. Scott's: I understand that parts fail, but what I can't understand is how you let your customer service fail.
