He measured my unit for some water damage to my wood floors and shook hands that he would would be available to do the work during the 2nd-3rd week of January. I began texting him to confirm the dates to do the work early in January. After a week plus of texting him...I texted him again and ask if/why he was ghosting me. He eventually replied that he was no longer available. I counted on Dustin and shook his hand in good faith. I had to search and find another credible flooring company (4 week lead time to do the work) to do the repair. It was very disappointing...my floors were exposed (and still are today) and my special needs child is/has been in danger crawling on the floors for much longer than was necessary. You might want to think twice before working with Dustin Cross and Cross Flooring. If he can ghost you in a minute (knowing you are in a difficult situation with a special needs child) after committing to do the work and without a care...what else is he capable of?

Floor Coverings, an independent installation company, out of Birmingham, AL did an incredible job…read moreon redoing some sub-par work on some laminate flooring my husband and I had purchased for a dear friend. As soon as they walked into my friend's home, they could immediately spot the poor workmanship that the previous installers did. The company is owned by Kenneth Tyler Sims and Thomas Bradley Sims. They are licensed installers and are fine young men who take pride in the work they do. I would give them the highest recommendation if you need flooring or carpet installed in your home. Buy your flooring or carpet from anywhere you want, but called them to install. Don't use the installers that Home Depot or Lowe's uses. If you do decide to use the Home Depot or Lowe's subcontracted installers, ask for Kenneth and Thomas Sims to do the installation. They do subcontract work through Romanoff Renovations for Home Depot. DO NOT GO WITH ANY OTHER CREW IF YOU ARE ASSIGNED TO ROMANOFF RENOVATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!
