We asked him to refinish the exterior of the front door, use the same product on the deck that had been used on the deck previously and to mask things like the sprinkler box and gas meter which he said he would do. We also asked about removing the black marks on the deck and he said that they would use a conditioner to remove them. He e mailed the bid and we accepted it. The Hispanic men who came to do the job worked hard and did a good job. When we returned home the second day the deck was being "varnished" with a product that was not the one we wanted. We called Brian. By telephone he told us that he had not included the front door refinish in the bid. That the product on the deck was something he bought at another paint store. The items that they painted over without masking was because he forgot to tell the painters that we had stated that they should be masked and when we asked why the rails of the deck had not been refinished he said, "I don't include rails." No one did anything to remove the black marks. I am sick about the shiny, splotchy look of the deck. He asked for his check by e mail and we paid him the full amount of the bid. He did not show any interest in walking to the back yard and looking at the deck. I hope someone else can learn from our experience.

Our roof was installed in 2018. In late 2020, the roof was leaking with stains on the ceiling. I…read morecontacted a "Blake Mizerainie" who oversaw the install of the roof. Mr Mizerainie contacted me in response to my inquiry and agreed to come see the roof. After seeing the leak, he stated he would "Return with my guy" to investigate for leaking. After leaving, and after multiple bouts of severe weather (and continued leaking) Mr Mizeraine cannot be contacted. I have sent no less than 10 texts, emails, and twitter messages in attempt to locate Mr Mizerainie. Ultimately the situation was clearly beyond my control and I notified Mr Mizerainie I would have to replace the roof (The roof has been replaced as of the day before this entry) I was told that the craftsmanship of the roof was sub-optimal with multiple issues related to flashing that was not replaced and the lack of quality ice and water shield protection. the decking on one side of the house did not even extend to the edge and was essentially covered only with the tarp and shingle. A 2x4 was found nailed to the roof to cover a hole... Mr Mizerainie has been or is currently associated with "Construction and Managements Solutions" but it is difficult to tell his role within this business; independent contractor or part owner...I don't know. Ultimately, the roof replacement was $19,800 I had not intended to spend replacing a roof that was only 3 years old, especially when the issue might easily have been resolved by simply coming back to my home, finding the cause of the leak and fixing the issue; even for the companies sake, as I would not have otherwise gained knowledge of the poor craftsmanship of the initial install. Mr Mizerainie has yet to respond to my requests for documentation related to the initial roof install.
