Located less than 5 mins from motorway so in a ideal location for people who have work to do down south.Price can not fault cheapest I have spent on a hotel in the surronding areas off the M25 Motorway. So all in all a very pleasent stay and should I be working that way again this would be my first port of call for a stop over.

Tea, biscuits and a kettle were provided, with a little desk so I could do a bit of work on my laptop, and there was also a tv, but I didn't turn it on so don't know what channels there are. You can choose from a range of cooked breakfasts (including a full breakfast, eggs benedict), or help yourself to cereals and toast. The owner is also the manager, receptionist, waiter and cook and he is fantastic. He is friendly and approachable, and gave me very useful advice about the area. You cannot find better without bumping the cost up at least £100 a night.

We had already walked all over Winchester, we were on our way to Stonehenge, we were excited and hungry, but also jet lagged and exhausted! Jill brought us to The White Lion joking that, being only 400 years old, it was practically a brand new pub! We came in (mind your head), and were immediately sat down at a big, groaning, family table! Water was served, beers and ciders followed, and then meat pies and fish and chips were ordered all around! This meal was absolutely delicious in the way that only homemade country pub food can be. The cider selection was excellent, and we left refreshed, happy, and ready to take on the rest of our day (mind you, we ALL passed out cold in the van after Stonehenge and on the way back to our hotel)! I had the opportunity to stay at this wonderful little B&B last weekend. I was in town to…read moreparticipate in a photography workshop and visit St. Michael's Abbey (aka Farnborough Abbey) which is only about a half mile away from Tudorwood and houses a lot of history. The B&B is very nice and my room was cozy but amenity full. The couple that typically runs Tudorwood were on vacation but their friends were very accommodating and friendly and went out of their way to help me. The breakfasts in the mornings were delicious and filling. The location was situated well enough that I could walk anywhere that I needed to go for this short trip to Farnborough.
