Our go to for some late night Shenanigans...we absolutely love this place. It's a place where you can have a few with your buddies & no one bothers you. Mama Ting is always there to make sure that there is no funny business going on. Tucked away in the industrial area in Waipahu, it's a small joint that offers late night eats, karaoke & full bar. The food here is so good. Our must have eats are always: Fried pork with tomato & onions with a soy dipping sauce. Fried calamari with a mustard soy dipping sauce. Ahi poke with cucumbers, tomatoes & onions. The karaoke song selection is pretty extensive, but not quite up to date. But doesn't love singing to oldie but goodie songs! Can't go wrong with some Gun's N Rose's or Aerosmith or some Hawaiian music.

Great bar with friendly staff. Great for day drinking too. Pretty relaxing vibe. Great food too if that's your thing, really great. Their beef jerky thing they make is super good.

Cute little hole in the wall bar. A friend/co-worker is a regular here and planned an after work Christmas gathering on the last day. The parking is very limited, mostly street, so if you're alone it may be kind of dangerous to drink heavily then walk far to your vehicle. We drank probably 7-10 Jager Bombs, which were delicious until it hits you Karaoke is always fun with friends and the food was also a hit The owner and workers are sweet and on top of it.

I may be biased because everytime I eat here, I tend to have some liquid courage, regardless the food is awesome. It's always made to order, garlicky, not too oily, tasty, and perfect with a beer or two or five. If you are expecting an ambiance, get takeout and send someone else inside to pick it up. If you want good food and a great time, you are welcome. Prices are very reasonable and portions are meant to share. My go to is shrimp fried rice w/ extra garlic, fries chicken, and if my heart feels up to it chicken skin! I've tried quite a few things on the menu, and have yet to find something I wouldn't order again. If you are a fan of dive bars, this is one of the best on the Leeward side.

I have always loved Tings food. I haven't gone to this bar for years. Today I was craving papaya salad & it was a total disappointment. It's was so sour, lots of vinegar. Maybe different cook now? Idk. Don't think I'll be back to eat this ever. Even the poke salad was idk. The fish was so mushy it was gross!! Lucky my kids don't really care cause they ate the damn thing and Enjoyed it.. Sorry I had to yelp this. It was bad!!

You're overlooking the water and swans, and when the weather is nice, I imagine it is SUPER nice. It was drizzling when I was there, but it still felt good to be outside since it wasn't raining too hard. They have TVs and a pool table, and I saw some SERIOUS pool players when I was there, so that was a vibe too. The food is really good. The wings?? High, high, hiiiiigh. I don't know if chicken is imported to the island or what, but the price is CRAZY high.... I had the buffalo chicken wrap and it was actually really good, BUT that wrap was so small. Of course they cut it in half, but each half was tiny. There's no way that was even a full 6-inch wrap before they cut it. Still stuffed and flavorful, just disappointing on the portion size. The French fries though? Really really good. I had them with my wrap and I enjoyed them a lot. Didn't get a pickle though, and I didn't even realize it was supposed to come with one until I came back the next day... I wish I had gotten that. The bartender was nice--it was a guy. Not super friendly, but cool enough. Now the bathroom... ATROCIOUS. I hated it. Didn't even want to touch anything. Yikes. But other than that, I do like the place!

One of my friends is a regular here-- and she got a round of tequila shots for everyone. I tried to get the attention of the bartender on my own without luck since it was so busy, so it's nice to be rolling with a windward side friend. We did end up leaving shortly after because it was very crowded (on Halloween, as expected) and just wasn't the vibe. People may say that 3 stars is harsh, but for a dive bar that's exactly where the bar is. I would go again, but not without a good group with me.

She described it as a place out of a Stephen King novel and she was right. It was a wonderful mix of a biker bar, military bar and a few locals. The drinks were good, bartenders were friendly music was happening and there's dart boards to keep you entertained. It's definitely a fun place to visit. They have a small parking lot right in front of the place and Apple street parking and other parking nearby. There's even a food truck that parks close by on weekends if you want something to snack on. They also sell chips and beer nuts. It's not my kind of place but definitely worth checking out if you are into a authentic dive bar experience.

This is a great spot to grab a drink if you want something that feels closer to a local dive bar vibe, even though it is right in the heart of Waikiki. You are not really dealing with locals raised on the island, but more people who live in the area or regulars who clearly make this part of their routine. It has that laid back, no frills energy that makes it easy to settle in for a drink or two. The barbacks were clearly busy, but drinks still came out quickly, which I appreciated. Overall, the vibe feels very tiki bar meets dive bar. Strong pours, loud music, and a crowd that is there to hang out rather than be seen. It adds to the fun, especially later at night. Not perfect and definitely crowded, but if you want a lively spot with fast drinks and a casual atmosphere, this is a solid stop. .
