It's a nice size pool with many seating options all the way around. There are several areas with chaise lounges, umbrellas and tables, there are 4 cabanas to rent and many poolside lounge chairs. There is a bar with drinks and food options that opens at noon. The water is crystal clear and not over chlorinated. Water is a perfect temp to cool down in. It is open to the sky without building interference. Music in the background and a leafy fence to make the air conditioners invisible. There is a bit of noise from those on one end but not unbearable. There are also a few poolside games like bags, large Jenga and a sort of bucket toss. One downside is the lack of outlets and no hotel WiFi. Would recommend if you have some down time!

Don't join this gym unless you're ready for them to fraudulently charge you $680 several months after you have canceled the membership. When approached about this discrepancy, the manager, Ashley Harvey, states that policy ALLOWS them to illegally charge you months after you have canceled. So there you have it. Out of the horse's mouth. A quick scroll though the reviews will indicate that this has happened with may other members. Choose wisely if you're wondering if this gym is for you. Current members, take heed and prepare to be in close contact with your banks should you ever decide to cancel.

However, before I even stepped foot into the gym, multiple employees called and text me. I feel like this, and I am sure others do too, of I say I will be there on Monday, I will be there on Monday. Unfortunately, they will call and text you almost everyday, even after you share when you will take a tour. Look, I don't owe you any money, don't call me as if I do. I couldn't take the harassment and never even went to take a tour. If employees can't respect my time, I don't want to be a member.

Glen Burnie Park Swim Club is the definition if a family swim club. It is located in a quiet…read moreneighborhood next to a basketball and tennis court. The guards know all of the members and are always friendly and fun for the kids. My children always have fun playing with kids of all ages in the pool, going off the diving board, and on the playground. The swim team is a family, the kids learn so much more than how to swim and the parents become your friends. They have raft nights, movie nights, and other fun events. There is no place I'd rather spend my summers.

It can be pretty difficult to snag a spot but when you do, Marcie provides a great class. The studio is small yet beautiful and peaceful. They also just added a mat pilates class on Sundays at 1pm, led by Marcie as well. I've only taken it once and I enjoyed it. It's not as challenging of a class as the heated power yoga but I still liked it. I could even see myself taking the heated power yoga and the pilates back to back if my schedule permits. They recently rearranged the weight lifting area so there's a more spacious stretching area and the turf area is reserved for more turf-centric activities. I can't wait until the pool opens later this year! It's definitely worth the $111 monthly fee, which is more expensive than other gyms in the area but you get a ton of access to great instructors and amenities.
