Not a huge place but large enough to contain the larger crowds on busier days. While they do provide umbrellas, bring your own lawn/beach chairs as they only have plastic deck chairs. Watermont has a lot of activities for families, kids and adults. Parties, movie nights, etc. Swim team seems to have a great following (we're not involved), as every time there is a swim meet there all of the roads get bunged up with parked cars. We often go there when they open, before lunch, and have pizza or something like that delivered. Makes for a nice early afternoon visit.

Wish we could return to those days. One time I will always remember. Buster Crabbe was at the pool one day. I guess he took a liking to me. He taught me how to dive. cicada killer wasps have infested the sand at meadowbrooke.the sting can cause an allergic reaction…read morein some people.time bomb waiting to go off if some child gets stung playing in the sand.it will cost them more than an exterminator.very unnerving to be around these large wasps.the whole fence by the sand is infested.most of the lounges and chairs have been moved away from poolside.no response from front desk other than a quick course in wasp behavior.

Glen Burnie Park Swim Club is the definition if a family swim club. It is located in a quiet…read moreneighborhood next to a basketball and tennis court. The guards know all of the members and are always friendly and fun for the kids. My children always have fun playing with kids of all ages in the pool, going off the diving board, and on the playground. The swim team is a family, the kids learn so much more than how to swim and the parents become your friends. They have raft nights, movie nights, and other fun events. There is no place I'd rather spend my summers.
