WHAT AN AMAZING TREE LOT! The tree selection was absolutely phenomenal. The staff went for and beyond with all their help and knowledge. The sales team were so kind and friendly. You can tell this is a real family owned and ran buisness and it was nice to support a local family buisness. The price wasn't bad at all for the quality of the trees and the staffs help. I have bought from hardware stores over the years and this was only about $20 more. Well worth it in my opinion. read more

It's our family tradition first thing on December 1st we head over to Tina's as a family and pick out our tree. This was was no different. We were very happy with our tree and the service we had with their staff. Was the tree expensive? Absolutely. But you are truly getting quality with their selection of trees. read more

Tina's Trees - Christmas Trees Near Me - Sherman Oaks, California

This has been our Christmas tree place since we moved to the Valley 12 years ago. The staff has always been extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They normally have a great selection of Trees. They also have amazing little reindeer and Christmas wreaths. The only issue I've had as of late has been the prices have definitely gone up. While I understand that the prices have gone up all over it's still pretty high. I mean $600 for a tree is crazy! But the quality of their trees is what keeps us going back. So you do get what you paid for. read more

Been purchasing our Christmas trees here for the past few years. But this year was truly disappointing. We came to purchase another one this year but unfortunately we left with no tree and will not be coming back. We found a tree that we loved and were quoted $239 and we asked for them to hold it while we looked around a bit more. Didn't find anything else worth it so we went back in hopes of purchasing the one we put on hold and they said it was for $325. They upped the price by $100 within minutes and said it was placed with the wrong tag. They even stated it was their mistake but a professional company should honor their mistakes, this clearly is not a professional company. Truly disappointing, ho ho horrible Christmas spirit! read more

We have been purchasing our trees and décor from Tina's for over 20 years. We absolutely love them and happily drive from Los Angeles to Sherman because of their outstanding quality, selection, service, and the overall experience. Most years we have our purchase delivered, and the delivery team has always been top notch--careful with our home, setting up the tree beautifully, and filling it with water while checking for leaks. This year we were sick after Thanksgiving, so we phoned in our order and asked them to select a thin tree, approximately 7 feet tall, for a narrow space, along with a medium wreath and 20 feet of garland. The tree was perfect and delivered in a timely manner. Once again, it was an amazing experience and a wonderful way to begin our Christmas season tradition with Tina's Trees. read more

Tina's Trees is a AMAZING company , perfect for fun and making memories with the entire family.

Love this place been coming for many years!! However, today we had a little bit of a different experience. We've never had a problem with workers bringing nice trees from the back. Today everyone was trying to sell the trees already on the floor that just weren't the right ones for us. One guy even told us they didn't have any trees back there. Here comes CHICO to save the day!! He was AMAZING!! Extremely friendly and super helpful! It's our daughter's first Xmas and we just wanted a positive experience with a nice jolly tree. We ended up with the prettiest chunkiest tree and super happy because of him! Highly recommend seeing him for help! read more

I went to Tina's for the third year in a row this year. They have some of the most beautiful flocked trees. You can find anywhere the flocking is high-quality. So while it does shed, it doesn't end up all over the place like low grade flock. The staff was great. They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The delivery guy that did our tree last year delivered the tree this year and he remembered us and was so gracious and delightful. I have to say we had our annual Christmas party and I have never gotten more compliments on my tree than I did this year and I really genuinely think it is the most beautiful tree I have ever had! I'll be honest, the prices are a bit high, the experience is worth the cost! read more

Cutting tree's on the ground? Not 1 table was set up for the workers to cut the tree's. You buy the tree, they toss it on the parking lot street, and cut it. Good workers bending their backs. 150$ for a parking lot tree that now has oil all over it read more

I came here just for a wreath and garland because I have an artificial tree so I like to use fresh cut greenery so I can still get that lovely tree smell. Seeing the wide selection of trees here almost made me regret my artificial tree, which I bought years ago because I like tall trees (10 to 12 ft) and the last time I went shopping for a real tree that was nearly impossible to find and the ones I could find were half dead and outrageously priced. That definitely was not the case at this tree lot. These trees seemed very fresh and healthy and they had a very wide selection varying in size from cute little 2' to 3' tabletop trees to awe-inspiring 15'+ trees. The lot is pretty well organized and they have plenty of trees set up and untied so you can browse easily. The prices and heights and species were all clearly marked on each tree as well. Not only do they do flocking here, they also offer color flocking. I'm not sure what colors are available but it could be a fun look if you want something less traditional. They also have reasonably priced fresh cut wreaths and garland as well as some unique items like the adorable reindeer made out of tree trunks. The wreaths are available 4 or 5 different sizes and the garland is priced by the foot and cut to whatever length you want. They are fresh, high quality and very very full; these guys definitely don't skimp. I picked up some garland from Trader Joe's last week that was dead after a couple of days but the garland I got from here is very lush and full and heavy and affordably priced - the Trader Joe's garland looked shameful in comparison. All in all I spent about $75 bucks total and got a large wreath (about 28" diameter) and 12' of garland and not only does it look nice but my house smells amazing. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 is that it took me kind of a long time to get someone to help me. The staff were very friendly and helpful once I got someone's attention but I was standing around with that confused, hopeful look on my face for a while before someone finally spoke to me and explained that I needed to go into the trailer/office to pay for however many feet of garland I wanted and then come back out and give the receipt to an employee to have them cut it for me. Overall I was pleased with my experience and very impressed with this tree lot over all. Honestly had I discovered this tree lot sooner I might not have shelled out for an artificial tree. I'm considering going back to get a tabletop tree and a reindeer because why not? Decorating is my favorite part of the holidays, might as well get the most out of it. read more

First time here and and I must say, it's popular. I've heard of it but actually have been been to the location. Having been recommended it by some people is always a good sign. Location is good as it's in a massive parking lot. So there's plenty of parking available. It's both near the Westfield Sherman Oaks mall and the freeway entrance so double plus. You know this place is happening when there's a massive line just waiting to get inside. Of course with covid, limited amount of people inside at a time. Took us about 10 minutes or so so to get in. Before walking through, we were given instructions inside of needed anything help or any questions which was nice. The lot itself was really organized. One side is where the ring you up and wrapped the trees. Also the sections where you pick up your order. There's also the wreaths, accessories and so on. Selections of tree are a plenty. They're all lined up so you could see versus places that are still all tied and bundled up. Also, they're covered up with a canopy which helps with the trees being all dried up beside purchase. Even though selections was nice, theres a shortage on what we were looking for. It's been like that in every lot we've been too. Apparently everyone in ok the hunt for the silver tip this year. read more

I'm giving Tina's 4 stars because we've been coming here for 8 years and have always had beautiful trees. But I wanted to share the slight disappointing experience I had yesterday. My partner and I moved into an apartment with super tall ceilings and we were determined to get a 7-8 foot tree this year. We were so excited. The moment we stepped onto the lot, a worker ran up to us. I won't name him because he didn't do anything wrong- but he followed us around the entire time, frantically pulling trees from the back wall and cutting them open and saying things like "this is your tree!" We told him we wanted a tall tree and he kept pulling out 6 foot trees and seemed disappointed when we rejected them. We felt unable to actually look at any of the trees in the rows because he was swarming us. I ended up feeling so pressured that I chose a seemingly taller, full tree and said we'd take it. He ran off with it while we paid. When he brought it out, it was obvious that several inches had been cut off of the bottom. In the stand, the tree barely clears my partner's head- and he's 6 feet exactly. As the tree was already cut and placed in the stand, I felt I couldn't change my mind. The worker very rapidly tied it to our car and we left. When we got home, the tree was able to stand up in our elevator without touching the ceiling. I am so so bummed. And the worst part is that taller trees were the same price as our little one. So after going there wanting to have a cozy holiday experience and find a nice, tall tree, we ended up being bombarded by a salesman until we chose a 6 foot tree to the tune of $182 just so we could get outta there. Most people who come to the lot are going to buy a tree- there's really no need to hound them. Please tell your guys to back off a little. We'll be back next year, but we'll make sure to firmly tell the guys that we'll call them when we need them. Sigh. read more

This was my first time going to a tree farm and I'm glad I did. The prices vary on the type of tree you get. I was gonna buy a tiny table top tree but ended up getting a 5 foot Douglas Fir (it's still a table top, pretty much, but it was super affordable and perfect for my bachelor pad). The gentleman who helped me out was very nice and quick. He even helped me take the tree to my car. Only downside is he chopped it a little uneven so now it stands a little lopsided. Still beautiful though. read more

This is the second year we got our tree at Tina's, I don't think we will be coming back for a 3rd year if I'm being honest. We usually get a 6-7' tree that's flocked with a stand and it's around $250. They have tons of trees and the employees are usually super helpful and move quickly, but this Christmas felt a little different. We were told to come back the following evening since our tree was being flocked, which is fine, but we called and asked to come the morning after that and they said no problem. When we arrived, no one could find our tree for 10 minutes. When they finally found it, it has not been flocked -_- so they asked us to come back that evening We came back that evening to employees who were not in the best mood and gave us a crooked tree. We had to stop on the way home because the way they tied it, it was almost falling off. I gave three stars because the tree is pretty now that it's decorated and we fixed the angle, but overall it was quite a disappointing experience for the price we paid read more

Fast & friendly service. A little pricey but i love Christmas so it's worth it. Such a great variety of trees to choose from. Got a noble fir, it's so full & pretty :). Got my stand there too! This review is long overdue! I've been coming here for years to get my Christmas tree. I never go anywhere else. Prices are reasonable. They always have a wide selection of tree sizes and wreaths. They also sell a nice selection of ornaments and other items you may need care for your tree. They have a good size lot that you can park in. If you hold on to your tree stand, you can trade it in the following year! So you always get a new one. Otherwise, you have to pay for your stand. Customer service is always great. * Tina also does a pumpkin patch for Halloween! read more

We purchased from Tina's trees before. A few times the tree was dead and old. This year the tree was fresh and seem to be a recent shipment.

Absolutely gutted this year. Made it to Tina's on Sunday afternoon to get the perfect silver tip tree. We found it in no time, like it was put aside just for us. We paid to have it lightly flocked and would pick it up Monday night. My boyfriend arrives at 6:30pm to pick up our tree, only to be told that it wasn't ready. An inconvenience, yes. End of the world, no. So we have to come back Tuesday. Ok, fine. Well, he went to pick the tree up today only to find that the tree is completely ruined. A $230 tree, ruined. And it was the last one of its kind, great. They offered to rerun the cost of the flocking. Absolutely unacceptable solution. The entire tree is ruined - even the guy at Tina's commented that the flocking was too much - and you wanted to offer me the cost of the flock? No thanks. Needless to say, I'm out of a tree now with a holiday party this weekend. Merry Christmas! -___- read more

We have purchased our Christmas trees from Tina's for years with no issues. This year was not the same. We received our tree on Thursday evening and quickly decorated it for the holidays. It is beautiful but the tree is not absorbing water. I can only imagine that it will be drying out quickly and unfortunately become a fire hazard. When I called to explain the situation, they instructed me to drill holes in the sides of the trunk to see if that could help to keep the tree hydrated. Hopefully this will help. For those still looking to purchase a tree make sure and watch them cut the bottom of your tree to ensure that this does not happen to you. read more

We've been buying our Xmas trees from Tina's for the last 6 years and we always leave their lot with a great tree and good service. Super dissapointed. We usually go to Home Depot for our trees, but this year because we are not traveling and wanted to make Christmas in LA special we decided to pay extra to go have a Christmas Tree lot experience. First, when we went to pick out our tree it felt like total chaos. There were no trees out to look at except ones with a "sold" sign on it. You had to track someone down to bring trees out to you, and there were several other families hovering around at the same time. Awkward and uncomfortable. We finally did pick out a tree that we loved. It was so pretty and we were really happy with it. We took it home and gave it water right away but the tree didn't take any water at all and started to die immediately. I don't know if they didn't do a fresh cut like we asked or what but I've never seen a tree shrivel up this fast. 2 weeks before Christmas our tree looked really sad. We just talked to our friends who we went with to pick out our trees and they had the exact same experience. Their tree was dead and dropping ornaments on the floor after 10 days. We won't be going back. read more

We love Tina's Trees! Wouldn't be a Christmas without a tree from Tina's! We come every year and our trees always last! They have a great selection, price range is very reasonable compared to several others, and all of their employees are super sweet and helpful. Parking here is always easy as well. We felt safe with their protocols during covid times and it never got too crowded while shopping around. We got a flocked tree this year and it was perfect, keep in mind it takes 24-36hrs for your tree to be flocked and for it to dry so you won't be able to take it home right away. But it's so worth the wait! read more

What a great experience (as usual) Best selection always. Conner was the best helper and found me the perfect tree

I've been coming to Tina's for both our pumpkins and our trees since we moved to the Valley. After my experience trying to buy a tree here this year, however, I will not give them my business again. Two separate employees were so rude to me that my family and I just left the lot and went elsewhere to find our tree (Armstrong, where the employees were so helpful and kind!). Not only was the guy 'helping' us at Tina's trees rude, but he also upped the height on our tree when measuring it from 10', which we budgeted for and it was labeled for, to 11' on our tag that he gave us to check out with. When I looked at the tag it said 11.5' and was $340 instead of $265. I went back to him and said it was 10' per the tag, but he refused to change it and took me to a 10' section of trees that were bedraggled, with anything decent already sold. He then tried to sell me ones that were wrapped up, and I said I wanted to see them open or I wasn't going to buy it. Then, he just walked away. F for customer service, honesty and attitude. I'm only going to give my business to people who treat customers kindly and with respect. Thankful we found our tree elsewhere after this debacle. read more

I have bought trees from Tina's for years. Last year we were disappointed with the employees' attitudes, but figured it was a bad year. Today sealed it. First, they've mislabeled Nordmann Firs as Nobles. Bit of a gimmick, but okay. The customer service or complete lack of it sealed the deal. I went and asked for help. I was told we would just have to wait. That happens. There were only two other families, but okay. Then while we're waiting, the person at the register gets help for someone else. And then there was a steady stream of people. Suddenly, three more workers come out to help. Guess our business wasn't important enough to get someone to help us. So after almost 15 years, time to move on. End of a tradi read more

This place is the creme de la creme of Christmas Trees. I've only been coming here for two years, but it feels like a lifetime. The entire staff makes you feel like you're apart of the family. Everyone is marvelous, and incredibly helpful. And the prices? You can't beat them for the quality of tree you're receiving. We bought our tree on December 10 (2014) and as of today January 11 (2015) the tree is still green, not dry, and has lasted almost a month. (We celebrate Ukrainian Christmas, so we need a tree that lasts until at least the 12th of January. We bought a 7.5 foot tree for 88 bucks. That didn't include the one time fee of the tree stand, from the previous year, but if you bring the stand back every year, they don't charge you, they just exchange it. The tree selection was super large, and there were so many different kinds to choose from in a variety of sizes. When you find the tree of your Christmas Dreams, find a helpful attendant who will mark your tree. If you aren't taking it that day, pay upfront and they will move the tree to the reserved tree section. Can't wait to come next year and find our tree. read more

Wow what a top notch Christmas tree shopping experience. They had a wonderful selection of trees. I was hesitant to try Tina's out because of all of the bad reviews. When we got there, they had a massive selection and pretty decent prices. We found an absolutely perfect tree and purchased it for only $50. We were thrilled! We asked several of the staff members how we could keep the tree alive for at least a month. We purchased it on December 6. As of December 18, less than two weeks later, the tree is completely dead. We followed all the advice and took special care of it. The tree isn't drinking water at all, which leads us to believe they didn't cut the bottom (we watched them take the plastic stand off, but not cut it). My wife called and told a staff member situation, and they were incredibly rude to her. The tree died in less than two weeks, which is very upsetting. So, if you only need a tree for two weeks, Tina's is perfectly fine. But don't expect it to last longer than that! And certainly don't expect for good customer service. read more
