They do the best pedicures. I'm always satisfied with my nails when I go there. Been going there for years.

Just went here to get my gel manicure removed. The lady had such a nasty attitude, she was probably upset that I wasn't getting another service. When she finished removing the polish she told me to go wash my hands without showing me where the sink was. This was such a bad experience, will not be coming back here. read more

Ive been here before about a year ago and it was a terrible experience the owner the guy idk his name but i assume he is the owner beats on his kids in front of customers. He is extremely rude and racist toward african americans and african americans are the main clients in this area. The last time I came he wouldnt give me my change because he said it was a tip. The man tipped himself . And lets not talk about him abusing his kids in the salon. He is a terrible person and i hope someone calls acs on him i feel bad for the children . But now i am back and i sit here getting a pedicure the owner is staring me down like im a alien very uncomfortable . This place has decent price. Came here for the first time. The pedicure was okay; however the manicure wasn't ! Very Disappointed! She didn't even massage my hands nor lotion up before putting the color! I forgot to remind her but then again, why should I ! Right? All the other places do that ! It's automatic. Won't be coming back!!! One star for price and for pedicure but that's it!!! They're lucky I'm giving them one star! They even forgot to clean the nail polish that got underneath my fingers! Got manicure and pedicure done for $20, not bad of a deal, haven't went to the nail salon in almost 2 years. I didn't get her name but she did a great job on my pedicure which is what I really needed, cleaned and cut and shaped my toe nails how I wanted. My feet could have been filed a bit better since the dry skin is still there on my heels but overall for $20 I don't think the service was bad. I didn't have to wait at all someone was there to help me right away. I got a manicure with a base coat didn't want to paint them. Update: went here for the second time and omg my big toe I didn't realize how badly it would hurt but it's been three days now and while my toes were getting done it was bleeding and now it just hurts a lot and it's right by the nail definitely going to go somewhere else for a pedicure, this toe was overdone and this shouldn't have happened. read more

ugh! my husband and i recently moved into the neighborhood and decided to find a nail salon walking distance to get our pedicures regularly. THIS WAS NOT IT. so i sat down for a pedicure and the man (don't know his namee) filled the water. when he told me put my feet in IT WAS BURNING HOT LIKEE HOT. no biggie totally understand mistakes happen. he added some cold water and made it better. it was time to cut my long toe nails ( I didn't get a pedicure in 3 months) so i figured my nails would be nice and perfect after it was cut and filed WRONG! he cut one of my toe nails CROOKED and uneven. he's about to wash off the mask off my legs and turns on the water Again it was completely HOT I ACTUALLY JUMPED i told him it was too hot and he told me no it's not. ummm sir My leg is red. he seems upset that he burned me twice . so i was still very nice to him kept smiling. the he wiped my nails to paint them and i felt my toe nnails it was rough , uneven ans dirty. at this point i'm irritated. ii asked him to please file my nail. he barely did and again got ready to paint. i eventually told him just leave my toes as is and just paid him. so now i paid $25 for a spa pedicure which was not even relaxing AT ALL. Just finished getting a manicure pedicure from this nail salon and it was NOT a good experience. 1. My pedicure took 15 minutes. No exaggeration. I don't even understand why anyone would think that is a sufficient amount of time to do a proper pedicure. I had to make several critiques to get it looking decent. 2. Manicure also took 15 minutes. Same scenario as the pedicure. 3. Don't even get me started on the cloth he used to dry my hands or the cheap lotion. My hands and feet are dryer now than when I came in. Just terrible. They need to appreciate the fact that I even gave a tip. I was going to just pay the exact amount but my family is in customer service and I just didn't have to heart to not leave something. read more

What a pleasant surprise!! My usual salon's owner just up and disappeared. I wasn't too crazy about some of the other salons in the area - most were outdated. After checking out two salons with 30-60 min wait times, I stumbled upon this small salon. There was no wait, and upon further inspection found it to be newly renovated - fresh paint, new tables and chairs and an extensive selection of polish. This may be my new spot!! read more

The worst nail salon in the area. First off I've been coming to this nail salon since 1999 so I've created a rapport with the previous owners, to say the least I was highly disappointed when they left. Ever since then service has declined. My first issue is that they are unbelievably rude. They speak in their language about you to one another in your face. Secondly they are highly overpriced and rush your job. The lady that does tips in there is always rushing and I always leave with uneven nails or miss-set tips. My biggest issue is that I went there to do a mani and pedi. Now the lady that does tips ran the pedi box and told me to get on the chair. I did so, she then changed her mind and said no lets go do a mani first I said ok. She proceeded to rush me out the chair grabbing my things in turn she ended up making my brand new iPhone 6 fall in the water. She then tried to dry it with a towel. She had some words with the owner and he saw what transpired. Now I was upset but I was trying to play it cool because that was a loss I was not willing to take. I asked to speak to the owner which is the younger guy with glasses who has seriously bad body odor and I was explaining to him the situation which I knew he already saw but I still proceeded to explain the situation. I told him I would be willing to go through insurance to replace the phone which is only 200 dollars. I told him if he needed proof of purchase I would bring any type of documentation so he could see that this was not a scam or a quick come up. He then proceeded to laugh at me and told me he didn't speak English which made me highly upset. I had to call the cops. Since then I've reported his business to the better business bureau I've told all friends and family to beware. They are rude obnoxious and money hungry individuals. Since then I now go to the salon up the block on 76 street. I was skeptical as I never been there before. But man o man they are a blessing in disguise. Simon is a perfectionist and they take their time. And prices are reasonable. I come out feeling very satisfied and pleased with my services. The wait is long only because they take their time with each individual. This place is truly a hidden gem! I hope you do make the right decision and I hope my experience and review was helpful. Services here are done very cheaply, sloppy, and unprofessional. To remove acrylic nails they will use nail clippers and a metro card just to get you out quickly and take your money. It really hurt my nails when they were prying them off with a metro card and I even still have a cut under my nail. They really don't care about being patient and gentle with you. Save yourself time and $5 by cutting your nails down yourself and soaking them in acetone or go somewhere else where they safely remove acrylic nails. Nails shouldn't be removed like this at all! Worst pedicure I've ever received. I walked in and the shop was empty and I asked for a pedicure. For one, the lady put the water way too hot and even when I told her it was too hot she didn't really make an effort to make it less hot. The whole pedicure was so quick, less than 10 minutes. She barely scrubbed my feet and my polished chipped within a couple of days. When I felt my feet, it was as if I never even went to get a pedicure. read more
