We were led to a basement to start out hour foot massage. There is a huge sign on the wall that says QUIET, the massage ladies talked the whole time, it was not relaxing at all listening to their chatter. The basement was in fact dark and dingy. The chairs we sat in were covered in towels, who knows if they were clean. My massage was just ok, My husband enjoyed his foot massage, he said actually "that was great" I was not keen on the rubber gloves and massage cream that kept drying up on my skin. Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience with the Chinese gentleman at the front desk, who I believe may be the owner. Before leaving my house, I carefully counted my cash and brought the exact amount needed for the massage. When I handed him the money, he did not count it in front of me. A few seconds later, he came back and claimed that I was $10 short. I am certain I gave the exact amount, so I believe I was unfairly charged an extra $10. The situation felt dishonest and very upsetting. In my opinion, he handled the payment in an unprofessional way, and I felt as though I had been taken advantage of. Guys be very careful when paying cash make sure to count in front of them before leaving the counter. On the other hand, the female receptionist I spoke with was kind, polite, and helpful. I hope that if I return for another massage with Jessica, I won't have to deal with the same gentleman again because this experience left a very bad impression.

Appointments are on time, and can start as soon as you arrive, even if you are a few minutes early for your appointment. The room is small, cozy, and the music is always relaxing. Since this is a massage therapy, I expected a little bit of deeper pressure, and personally for me, I prefer that. It might not be everyone else's preference. There is a bit of a language barrier, but since I have been receiving all my treatments from the same RMT, it took about a couple of sessions before she and I worked out the amount of pressure and on what certain parts of the body as well. I just learned to speak up if I want something to change. Massage therapies are soothing, however there would be times when I hear staff talking, walking by, or having lunch (since the kitchen is close to the massage rooms). Over-all every treatment has been excellent and relaxing. Staff is friendly, and the place is clean. I would recommend this place for RMT massages. Review 98 of 100

I was experiencing the worst neck pain of my entire life last week and it was really making my day-to-day tasks unbearable. For 6 whole days I was taking cabs to work because walking hurt too much, I couldn't sleep and no amount of tiger balm and advil seemed to be helping. A friend suggested a massage, but I had never been for one before and was doubtful that it would really do much of anything. Regardless, I started searching around for a RMT and after reading the wonderful Yelp reviews, decided to give Gesund a shot. Despite being completely out of my element, my mind and worries were immediately put at ease upon entering the premises. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. My RMT, Yvonne, took the time to figure out where I was experiencing pain and explained what she was going to do to help me. She made me feel very comfortable and I could tell that she genuinely wanted to alleviate the pain that I was experiencing. It's remarkably evident that she loves what she does and that's she is exceptional at it. After my massage, Yvonne showed me techniques that I could do at home to continue treatment on my neck. She even sent me an e-mail recapping these techniques for my reference. By the next day my neck was almost 100% better and I couldn't be happier! I will definitely be returning to Gesund and I highly recommend it!

He said it was okay, not the best I had the Swedish, which I found uncomfortable. The therapist had long nails and kept on sliding his nails up and down my back actually making me feel tighter in the back as it was a bit uncomfortable. He also was very fast in his technique, with didn't loosen any of my tight muscles. He did try want to work together and do what I liked... but unfortunately when the technique isn't there, it's hard to explain what you want. And the worse part of the massage was that he used a scented oil on me that overwhelmed my scenes. I left there uptight and congested. I don't I would try this place again.
