Been meaning to try this place for a while, so happy we finally did! The live band was a blast and the beer prices were good for the area, pleasantly surprised. Place was pack and still managed to get pretty good service. The overall atmosphere was just fun and inviting, plenty of bathroom space with no annoying attendant, can't wait to go back!

Huuuge fan!! Went here around the holidays & the vibe was so fun! This is the bar wrigley needs tbh and the live music is killer!

Was here on Saturday night and had so much fun with friends. It's Monday now and we're still talking about how good these cheesesteak fries were! So much fun dancing can't wait to go back.

Tuesday Trivia at Tin Roof Chicago

Went last night for my first time and really liked the place! I've been to Tin Roof in Lexington, KY and Nashville, TN many times and thought the Chicago location was much cleaner and more spacious than previous locations I've been to. We did Tuesday Trivia and had an absolute blast - the host, Skylar, was great as well and created a fun environment for all. I really liked that you can order food from a QR code and then pick up your food yourself at the to-go window they have inside the bar. They also had a ton of Christmas decorations up which I appreciate as a holiday lover! I highly recommend Tin Roof for a fun night out or for Trivia Tuesdays!

This was my third visit to Tin Roof. I love that they have live music playing on the front stage, as well as a DJ in the back room! Lately the schedule has skewed primarily country performers, although my first visit had a rock type band. Bartenders are nice, and the drinks are reasonably priced for Wrigley. They also have a decent food menu. The funnel cake was delicious. The crowd does tend to peak later in the evening (we were there at 10 and it was just starting to fill in). Would definitely recommend if looking for a fun night out!

Did a man design this bar? I understand it's called tin roof so you have tin restrooms but command hooks are less than $5 to hold a woman's purse and/or coat. Apparently the owners are too cheap

A spot where someone could walk in, maybe order a drink, and listen to some music without first opening Ticketmaster and shelling out half your paycheck to their junk fees. Some of their performances are free, and some have a reasonable cover of $10-20. There are also performances every night, sometimes even in the afternoon. The vibe inside is dimly lit and very old-timey. Even the bathroom had a bar of soap! I haven't seen a bar outside of a private residence! For sure, the vibe fits the history. Green Mill used to be a spot visited by Big Al himself. Yes, there are still connected tunnels used by the mob, no, you cannot see them. In terms of the bar, do not expect anything special. Their menu is limited to the beers, wines, and champagnes they have. They have spirits, but no cocktail menu - while they *might* be able to mix something simple like a Manhattan, be prepared for basic drinks along the lines of a gin & tonic. The service was fine, but a little abrupt. Not the best welcoming or inviting, but gruff and surly in a way that is probably cute to regulars, but less so to newcomers like myself. Final verdict: Green Mill is a place one comes for the music and the vibe and to get away from life for a little bit. It appears to be a third place for many regulars. It's worth giving a shot, as long as one is ready for an experience that's a little rough around the edges, arguably by design.

Supposedly, this used to be a speakeasy back in the day. Extra pro tip is to get there early if you want a seat closer to the band.

Be aware this is a cash only venue and bar prices are a bit inflated. $11 for a high noon and $3 for a small bottled water. The coat closet is on the main floor, stage is on the second floor. I didn't go to the third floor where the bathrooms are but the balcony overlooks the main floor. I'm not sure if this venue has stairs. After the concert we checked out the dance club in the lower level. There is another bar, an all-gender restroom, and a club with DJ. Great lighting, sound, and ambience in an older building with beautiful architecture. Can't wait to see another show here.

They didn't even have screens showing the stage so people in the back could see. Overall terrible set up. Plus they had a second elevated surface with poor signage that people kept tripping over all night. The women's bathroom is all the way on the top floor and very inaccessible. They have a coat check which is nice for a few bucks, $5 maybe? Parking is spot hero and like $20. Overall a bad venue

We arrived 30 minutes before the doors opened and found a line wrapped around the block. We had tickets for the second show, so we had to wait for the first show to let out. It was a little chilly so standing outside sucked. But the line moved quickly and finding a seat was painless. I found the venue and seating underwhelming. The seats are cheap folding chairs. They're packed tightly so good luck if you get stuck next to someone that's on the heavy side. During the show, a patron fell out of his seat twice and Janelle James ended up mentioning it in her act. He fell because the chairs were terrible!! Poorly constructed doesn't even begin to cover it. The acoustics were good though. I had no problem hearing Janelle James. I could barely see her though. The seating isn't elevated or sloped, so if you're short and surrounded by taller people, then you'll be staring at the back of their heads all night. That sucked, but what can you do? I caught glimpses of her sporadically, which ended up being fine. I didn't buy any food or alcohol, so i have no opinion on that. We exited the venue as quickly as we entered, which was a plus. I think it helped that we were seated towards the back. We got to the brown line in no time and were home soon after. The show was entertaining and I had a good time. Overall, the experience was satisfactory, but, I doubt I'd visit this venue again anytime soon.
