We had an old and beautiful pine that towered over our back yard, providing decades of pleasure. Unfortunately, because it had a double-trunk, it had finally become a "hazard tree", and needed to come down before it split and fell on our neighbors' homes. Tim's bid was fair and they were able to begin work two weeks after providing the bid, as promised. The job took two days, as predicted, with Chris and George showing up at 7:45, both mornings, and worked HARD all day long, finishing up about 17:30 or so. Watching these remarkable fellows was a demonstration in expertise and endurance. I couldn't have kept up with them, even in my youth. They left almost no trace they had been here, cleaning up the entire work area to better than they found it. I will hire Tim's crew again in a heartbeat. Thank you for such excellent work! read more

These guys do excellent work at an unbeatable price. They're often backed up and it can take a while for them to return phone calls, but trust me, it's worth the wait. I've had them remove three massive quaking aspens and two large cherry trees from my yard. The cleanup is impressive; they don't leave a trace of the trees behind. The stump grinding comes a few weeks later so the stump killer can do its work on the roots. They leave a pile of fantastic mulch that I like to spread in my gardens. Those five trees, removed and stumps ground, cost me about the same as having 1-2 removed by someone else. Very impressed! read more

Tim's Tree Care was reasonably priced so I went with them. If you are worried about a company being insured, or taking responsibility for damaging property, this is NOT a company for you. I hope this review will serve as a warning to other potential costumers. The company damaged my neighbors deck by throwing large limbs onto their deck. I wasn't too worried because the owner, Tim Simmons, said that the company was insured prior to coming to my house. After asking the company to fix the deck before I pay Tims Tree Care, Tim literally yelled at me, calling me a liar. Since I knew I was telling the truth, I sent him photos of the damage that was obviously caused by this company and Tim still denied responsibility. Since then, he sent me an email that I will quote verbatim, "Your balance will accrue 18% interest after 30 days. and compounds monthly. After 90 days of none paymnent it will be sent to collections." If you are an English teacher, don't look too closely at how he wrote that. I'm not the best at spelling and punctuation either, but I think he wrote this off the top of his head considering the errors. The spelling and grammatical errors aren't the issue though. The issue is that Tim's company damaged property, denied responsibility even after showing evidence, didn't ask permission to throw branches and logs into my neighbors yard or deck, treated my neighbors and myself poorly, and then out of anger attempted to threatening me with interest and sending me to collections. I would not try and damage this company's reputation. The owner of this company, Tim Simmons, has done this on his own. I am just letting others know about my experience. Here is the end result. My neighbor wanted to sue his company, but I talked him out of it. I don't want to ruin this man's life over very bad customer service. In fact, my wife and I are paying him for the job he poorly completed. (This is not because of his empty threat of interest or collections. We actually have nothing in writing that connects us to anything at all.) Now, with my neighbors help, we are fixing his deck. Thank you for taking the time to read this review. WOW! Did not expect that, I didn't ask for the names of the 2 guys that were shoveling my driveway for almost 2 hours today because I expected them to be there for a few minutes but they didn't stop working until every piece of ice was gone (There was a lot of ice, sorry guys, next time I'll call right after it stops snowing and not 4 days after).
