Tried to find the closest pizza place, and the Coke Lane pop up at Lucky's showed up on our map. Just a short jaunt from the Guinness Storehouse, this place was an absolute godsend. Coke Lane's stand and wood fired oven is set up in the backyard of Lucky's bar (which is a great place to hangout btw). The pizza here was damn good. Orders are placed in the backyard, and they bring the pizza out to you (even if you're sitting inside). We had the margherita and the Scarface pizza, and both were excellent. The crust was cooked to perfection and just the right amount of char and chewiness. Don't think I've eaten pizza that fast! Being from NYC my standards for pizza are pretty high, and Coke Lane definitely is some legit wood fired pizza. Highly recommend dropping by if you're looking for some eats in the area.

We did not have high expectations we just wanted some food before going to bed and the pizza was AMAZING! Everything in the shop seems to have a theme of beautiful illustrations from the cushions to the table ware. There is a good range of some old favourites like Beatrix Potter and Winnie The Pooh and some more unusual ones I have never heard of like the Moomin (??). If you are tight on budget they have some really nice little prints and postcards that would be perfect to frame for a gift. Our first meal in Dublin was at The Old Mill Restaurant, right in the heart of Temple Bar. It's been serving traditional Irish fare since the 1980s and has become a favorite stop for both locals and visitors looking for classic comfort food. After about a 20-minute wait, we were seated in the warm, inviting dining room. Susan ordered the mussels, one of her favorites, while I went with the Traditional Irish Stew and my daughter chose the Braised Beef & Guinness Stew. Both were exactly what we hoped for: hearty, flavorful, and perfect after a day of sightseeing. I finally understood why the Guinness stew had such a rich, dark color, and I have to admit, I came home a big fan of Irish stew. We finished with the Homemade Bread & Butter Pudding topped with fresh cream and custard, a comforting dessert that was the perfect ending to the meal. Service, atmosphere, value, and food were all five out of five. We also enjoyed chatting with the floor manager, whose pride in the restaurant and his team was obvious.
