She made it clear she is in charge and won't do anything she doesn't want to. Now it's been over 30 days since mov out and refuses to communicate AGAIN. She won't return my deposit and I'm not the only one filing in court against her, I've learned. Her name comes up every time "slumlord" is mentioned in Taos.

She did a bait/switch and told me one thing verbally and then when contract, came late and had to push to get it, was something totally different. With that said, I am losing my entire Hold Deposit as can't rent on the conditions as stated in her contract. I have no place to move to and starting over. Feel sorry for the owners...hope they find another company to represent them. If you are working with Dee at Mariposa, first, I'd avoid it, but if you had to, make sure 100% in in writing and give her no money before everything has been agreed upon in writing....and still you never know what she might pull.
