Now today when I reached out to a very SNOTTY woman (I didn't bother to get her name), who absolutely had zero interest in helping me, and couldn't help herself but to talk over me. When I tried to tell her all of this was a referral and that I already have my records in hand, she continued to get worse talked over me still, at this point I'm DONE! I have given this provider and staff several chances to be the doctor and office I believed them to be and told they were and that's just not the case. Maybe the doctor is great but with staff like this NO THANK YOU! If you are looking for a headache then by all means, try these people otherwise hang up the phone and try elsewhere. I'd also like to add that if Kristen would like to learn to use her phone functions better, here are some tips: When calling a patient back just to hang up on them to be unprofessional, block your number or use your own personal phone instead of a business line. Yes I documented that too. I would also like to add that if the front desk transfers you a call and you don't want to take it or talk to that person, I suggest you mute your phone. Now we all know that phones can break, so I would also suggest disconnecting your headset, as I could hear every word you uttered and also putting me back on "hold" didn't stop me from hearing you or banging your handset on the desk for about a minute, before you actually picked up the phone to talk at me. Do better ma'am and have the day you deserve.

I was told that if my claim with Mentor was approved that it is Mentor's policy to mail my reimbursement check to the Physician and that his office would promptly issue that check to me. I waited until July then left several messages for Cheryl. None of my calls were returned. Today, July 27th I called again this morning and was told she would call me today. She did not. I finally called Mentor myself and found out my reimbursement check was mailed April 15th and Received. I also found out from Mentor they only mailed it to their office by request of the Physician. They mail checks directly to patients All the time!! When I dropped by at 4pm today Cheryl printed it right then and had receptionist give it to me. I asked to speak with Cheryl who only came out to see me because I wasn't leaving until she did. Her only explanation is she was out the week after my check came in, she deposited it then forgot to reimburse me. She offered a very defensive apology with a completely dismissive attitude. She also did not care in the least that She personally cost Dr Ratliff a patient. I work in the medical field and will spread the word. Ironically I had just referred our Director to him yesterday. She is no longer going to see him.

I can't say this was a fun day, but it was an exciting day. It started at 5:3O AM we I jumped out…read moreof bed, quickly dressed and rushed to Dr Paulsen's office for my 6 Am appointment with the Morpheus 8 machine. My time in the office was pleasant. The staff from receptionist to nurses to physician are wonderful. I was expecting IV sedation, but the anesthesiologist decided to do general. I think last time I had too much fun work on IV sedation. I was aware of enough to feel and hear the rhythm of the machine and I dreamed about people marching to that rhythm. They told me I was vocal and moving to the beat. It must have been difficult working on a moving target. I had more fun the first time, but I appreciate that under general, the staff could get more done towards making me look youthful. Speaking of looking youthful....while I don't think I actually look youthful, I saw someone this New Years that I haven't seen since my facelift. I have been thinking there wasn't much difference, but he declared "you look different." "I want to say younger." When I told him I'd had some work done, he said " but it looks so natural!" " How did that happen? He elaborated that people he knew looked wind blown and didn't even look themselves. My friend who recommended Dr Paulsen said, "sometimes girls just need a little help."

I came here to visit my Dad while he was in the ICU before he passed on Thanksgiving Day this year…read more Although my Dad had to be moved from being on a ventilator, being in the ICU, being in step down care, etc., I can't say enough good things about the staff that I interacted with at Hillcrest. From the time my Dad called me to tell me that he was diagnosed with Stage IV colorectal cancer to the day I saw him in the ICU was exactly one month to the day - and he was dead just a couple weeks later. The staff answered my questions without beating around the bush which I appreciated. While my siblings and I were very pragmatic about our Dad's prognosis, my Mom and my Dad's extended family weren't taking it so well. My mom was at the hospital 24/7, sleeping in a chair in my Dad's room to be by his side. The staff were incredibly gracious and kind to my Mom. They let all of the family filter in, pray, talk, etc., for as long as they wanted outside of shift change. While I was out of the country on the night of my Dad's passing, a few of my siblings were there and they let me know that the staff allowed more than 2 people at a time to go in and sit with my Dad's body for a few hours to grieve, which I know my family appreciated. The only drawback for my visit to Hillcrest was that the cafeteria was rough for gluten-free options as a celiac. I went an entire day on just a bag of Cheetos from the cafeteria while I sat in my Dad's room. If I needed to stay longer at the hospital, I would have had to order safe food from outside of the hospital. Overall, my interaction with security, nurses, interns and doctors was fantastic in such a stressful time that I didn't have much time to prepare for. Visited: November 2025

I started with Dr. Caleb Nunley (Owasso), who is such a great doc. He listened, we talked, and worked out a plan to monitor things. Later on, I met with Dr. Susan Peterson, who did the actually surgery. Dr. Peterson is one of the best doctors I've ever met. She was open and honest about what I would go through, perfectly managing my expectations (which is not an easy thing to do). I could go on and on, but it would just be polish on the diamond. TB&J as a facility is outstanding. From the Union Pines surgery center to the main offices and Physical Rehab facility on the main campus, everyone I interacted with were extremely professional and relateable. Everyone was friendly, helpful and ready to help at every turn. Same goes for the folks at the Owasso office where I'm doing rehab PT. Brac'ee and Kayla have been so great to work with. They push you, sure, but they respect that you're in pain and do have limits. Overall I could not be happier with the entire team at TB&J, and would not hesitate to use them again.
