I started with Dr. Caleb Nunley (Owasso), who is such a great doc. He listened, we talked, and worked out a plan to monitor things. Later on, I met with Dr. Susan Peterson, who did the actually surgery. Dr. Peterson is one of the best doctors I've ever met. She was open and honest about what I would go through, perfectly managing my expectations (which is not an easy thing to do). I could go on and on, but it would just be polish on the diamond. TB&J as a facility is outstanding. From the Union Pines surgery center to the main offices and Physical Rehab facility on the main campus, everyone I interacted with were extremely professional and relateable. Everyone was friendly, helpful and ready to help at every turn. Same goes for the folks at the Owasso office where I'm doing rehab PT. Brac'ee and Kayla have been so great to work with. They push you, sure, but they respect that you're in pain and do have limits. Overall I could not be happier with the entire team at TB&J, and would not hesitate to use them again.

So, I kept calling them back. The final person I spoke to says they can't schedule anything til they get authorization from my insurance. Fair, but why contact me at all if you can schedule me. This place clearly doesn't have it together. I'm calling my doctors office for a new referral. Lindsay, I've got a recording both times telling me to call them to schedule an appointment. One even told me what days during the week they had. Nothing about insurance. Your employees were very misleading so stop enabling and own up to your mistakes. Now I want to stay even further away.

But when the apparently rushed doctor (or just uncaring) diagnosed 2 sprained ankles and provided a not well fitted boot, my trepidations climbed. We left. Due to past experience I called podiatrist Dr Brad Beasley who had found the 4 broken bones a couple years earlier that TBJ had missed/ignored. No, I didn't have 2 sprained ankles, I had one and the ankle was broken with a piece floating. I needed surgery. Working through it, but confident. He is the most thorough and caring doctor you can find. He is honest and will provide advice you may not want to hear. But it's because he sincerely cares. 6

Healed a lot faster than expected and surgery went well!!! The staff here at the office are super nice! I also highly recommended the Oklahoma surgical hospital!! Her surgery got push back due to positive covid and wanted to transfer her to St. Francis hospital and I found out it cost an extra 11k!!!!!!! I couldn't afford that so we waited out her 10 days to have it back at the Oklahoma surgical hospital. Surgery went well, facility and staffs there are super nice and caring!!! Very affordable if you have to self pay. Found out our private insurance declined all of our claims because they don't cover in sports injuries, never heard of that in my life but we learned it the hard way, so thankful that they have discounts and payments options for us and no hidden fees. She's here at the office now waiting on a full release to get back to full training at the gym again!!! #Dr.DAVIES is the BEST!!!!! It's one thing to think that a surgeon is a good surgeon because I don't have a complaint about…read morewhether or not Dr. Mittall is a good surgeon what I have a problem with is that after you have surgery, they don't want to give you pain medicine, even though they will say that you can have 2. 5mg pills every six hours as needed for Pain but then they will only give you 40 pain pills in a week which do the math that will not last a week then when you try to get them refilled, good luck getting them refilled they will just leave you without pain medicine for two days every week. They do the same thing every week and this week because I missed my follow up appointment (because they didn't bother to talk to me and I missed their phone call) and didn't know that they had set up an appointment without speaking to me now they told me I can't have pain medicine for 7 more days ...so I'm just supposed to go a week with NO pain medicine and they're like well sorry that's not our problem. I said well it's not my fault you can't see me. I tried to set up an appointment and you couldn't see me until the 26th and they said well that's OK. We'll see you on the 24th by the way today is the 17th and they had only given me medicine to last me to the 15th. I am 69 years old. I am not a drug addict and did not wait till I was 69 to have a knee replacement so I could get on drugs. so if you want to have your Pain managed after surgery good luck with Dr. Mittall's office.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and explained the entire process step-by-step. They made sure my son felt comfortable and was relaxed. The parking lot is a bit away from the building, so bring a stroller or wheelchair if you need to assist those that have issues walking, there was a café here for meals snacks I smelled hot food but we were just in an out so I didn't eat or drink anything.
