It's rare to find a business that I can't find *something* to pick at.... but TB&J is one of those…read more I've been seeing them for a couple years, monitoring a deteriorating right knee. I started with Dr. Caleb Nunley (Owasso), who is such a great doc. He listened, we talked, and worked out a plan to monitor things. Later on, I met with Dr. Susan Peterson, who did the actually surgery. Dr. Peterson is one of the best doctors I've ever met. She was open and honest about what I would go through, perfectly managing my expectations (which is not an easy thing to do). I could go on and on, but it would just be polish on the diamond. TB&J as a facility is outstanding. From the Union Pines surgery center to the main offices and Physical Rehab facility on the main campus, everyone I interacted with were extremely professional and relateable. Everyone was friendly, helpful and ready to help at every turn. Same goes for the folks at the Owasso office where I'm doing rehab PT. Brac'ee and Kayla have been so great to work with. They push you, sure, but they respect that you're in pain and do have limits. Overall I could not be happier with the entire team at TB&J, and would not hesitate to use them again.

I had a voicemail from them on a Friday. Monday morning when they supposedly were supposed to be open at 8 AM I tried to return the call. I didn't get an answer until at least 8:10a. When I did, they immediately put me back on hold. If you can't get a hold of a person at a business on the telephone it doesn't speak well about the business. I assume those doctors have enough money already so they don't care about customer service or phone calls or trying to make an appointment to see one of their doctors. Negative stars I wouldn't be treated there if I had a compound fracture.

They were not the friendliest, most sympathetic , most caring staff. But I must add I let them know that doctors in that building had let me down before. Like not finding/acknowledging 4 broken bones in my foot years earlier. The radiologist seemed competent and explained why he thought he was. Again, not my first rodeo. But when the apparently rushed doctor (or just uncaring) diagnosed 2 sprained ankles and provided a not well fitted boot, my trepidations climbed. We left. Due to past experience I called podiatrist Dr Brad Beasley who had found the 4 broken bones a couple years earlier that TBJ had missed/ignored. No, I didn't have 2 sprained ankles, I had one and the ankle was broken with a piece floating. I needed surgery. Working through it, but confident. He is the most thorough and caring doctor you can find. He is honest and will provide advice you may not want to hear. But it's because he sincerely cares. 6

We were in and out in less than 30 minutes. I left in the exact same situation as when I went in. What a waste of my time and their time. I cannot imagine ever needing this type of medical expertise in the future; I will stay at home with my Tylenol And ice pack.

I am 75 and live on Social Security. My bill from hospital was $79,594.75. Don't know what Dr. Mittal's chg was. FYI

In April, I was scheduled for knee replacement surgery by Dr. Mittal. A week before the scheduled…read moresurgery, I was informed that I needed to pay nearly $1800 up front. This was my first notification of this out-of-pocket expense. I asked if there was a payment plan and was told no by the billing associate. I told her that I needed to cancel the surgery. She did then offer a payment plan - half up front with two subsequent payments. I gave her my debit card. The next day I decided that this wasn't a good option for me and asked that she refund my card. I've been waiting for six weeks for this refund. The billing associate does not return my phone calls. I've visited her at the clinic twice and each time I'm told that it's being processed. One of the forms handed to me at the time of the visit concerned a blood-platelet procedure that he performs. The box was checked that I did approve of this, ready for my signature. I later found out that this is optional. This had not been discussed. Dr. Mittal spent about a minute with me during my two visits. In addition to not being informed about the up-front cost, I was blindsided at the hospital when told I needed to pay for the Iovera injection up front. This was over $400. This entire experience with this office had been a nighmare.

Injections have not helped and medication for pain doesn't help. St Francis MRI department schedule my MRI for close to two months, because I have defibrillator that is safe for the MRI.  Previously, I have had MRI at St Francis for my spine with no issue.  I have gone to the MRI department and called too and begged to do the test.  No action taken, it seems St Francis schedules MRIs that easy to make money faster.  Honestly, the way that they behaved, MRI department didn't care how much pain I have and they left the schedule for two months. Well, it is business and that is what they care. It is unfortunate.

So, I was discharged to take myself to Adv Ortho urgent care to see if they could do it. Turned out infected and in emergency surgery a couple hours later... wow could have been resolved here but nope.
