To begin with the receptionist that schedules appointments is a poor listener and incompetent. On…read moretwo occasions we agreed on a date for my next visit which she inputted into her computer. She then provided me a card with the wrong date and time. I pointed this discrepancy out and she remedied it with a new, correct appointment reminder card. She did this again on my next visit. I pointed out the error and said "you are scaring me" - she seemed unfazed, did not apologize, and finally provided me a card with the proper date/time. I would add that on these two occasions the office was not busy nor was she seemingly distracted by phone calls. Additionally, when I arrived for one appointment there was a note on the office door that said "WE HAVE MOVED" and provided the new address. She did not even have the presence of mind to alert patients to that fact beforehand. I have no idea how many patients were inconvenienced by this omission. Dr Nowzari may be a fine urologist but I was only seeing him for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). Regardless, he ran me through a series of urological testing, to include an ultrasound. After 6 months of TRT treatment he advised that I needed to have another ultrasound - I declined and told him I believed I was being subjected to unnecessary testing for my given situation and was concerned Medicare might also deem some of tests unnecessary and not pay for them. He just said that is the way he elected to conduct his practice and Medicare had never questioned him about excessive testing. To get my TRT treatment that day, and to get the heck out of his office I "agreed" to an ultrasound during a subsequent appointment. I have provided just some of the reasons why I stopped seeing him, but a final incident put me over the top. Medicare will pay for 6 testosterone pellets every 3 months per patient. If the patient (in this case obviously me) wants more pellets than the 6 he must pay out of pocket to the physician for the extra(s). I opted for 2 extra pellets, my expense being $340 ($170 per pellet) paid to the office of Dr. Nowzari. Two days after this pellet insertion I removed the bandaging, per his orders, and found that one of the pellets had backed out of my hip and had adhered to the blood soaked dressing meaning I had not received the full 8 pellet dosage, 2 of which I had paid for. NOTE: Prior to this wound care appointment I had made an appointment for the ultrasound, which I never remotely considered going through with to buy some time in finding another urologist. When I returned for my wound care followup I showed him the bandage, which I had placed in a sealed plastic sandwich bag, with the white pellet (looks like a thick grain of cooked white rice) right in the middle of the bloody gauze pad. He turned the bag over several times in his hands, felt it and said he could not be certain it was a pellet that had come out. I looked at him in amazement and asked what else it could be. He stated he had no idea (Google testosterone pellet and you will see it exactly as I described it). That is when I realized I was not going to be compensated for the dislodged pellet and knew I would I would have to eat the $170, but derived some solace from the fact I would never have to see this individual again. As soon as I left the exam room I stopped at the front desk and asked that all my records be sent to a well regarded urologist in my area that I had identified while biding time for the ultrasound appointment I was never going to attend and ultimately cancelled. On 03/04/2026 I received TRT treatment from my new urologist, again asking for 2 extra pellets for which I would pay out of pocket. Guess how much the pellets cost? $60 for both. The Nowzari "not exactly a discount": $340 for two. I will let prospective patients of Dr Nowzari decide if he is or is not running an ethical practice.

A great big shout out to Dr Shelby Morrisroe…read more I could not be more grateful to her for her knowledge, excellent skills and wonderful followup. Received a procedure requiring day surgery, and thanks to Dr Morrisroe's experience and talent.....my surgery was very successful. Dr Morrisroe called me at home that very evening to check on me, and inquire if I had any questions and made certain that if I experienced any issues or felt the need to go in....to simply do so. This was my 2nd surgery with Dr Morrisroe, one which involved kidney stones a few years ago, and also a success. Oh yes, and during the prepping of my surgery, she checked in on me to reassure me and go over the procedure once again, in case I had any questions. Also, a big thank you to Dr Morrisroe's nurse Kaitlyn located at her Earl St office. Kaitlyn could not have been more patient, more sweet, more empathetic nor more helpful. I am one happy little camper, thanks to the outstanding care provided by Dr Shelby Morrisroe

I went to Dr Morrisroe for an overactive bladder recently. I was totally impressed with the…read moreefficiency of UNIO which is the parent organization running almost all of the urology groups in the South Bay, and many other Urology groups in the US. I think anyone with a urological problem really has to separate the doctor's expertise, experience, and humanity from this overarching managerial structure. There is just too much pressure to see too many patients - the structure is fructuating and impersonal which made it especially important that the communication with the doctor is personal, to the point, clearly communicated, understood well and any proceedure described in full along with risks, benefits, and alternatives. Dr Morrisroe did this perfectly, then performed an invasive procedure expertly and with no pain. It's one of the procedures she specializes in. If you want good results, go to this doctor. It worked beautifully. Moreover, I liked her as a person. She's real.

I acted on all of his recommendations and experienced no improvement. None. When I complained about the quality of care he testily responded that he did everything right and that I just had a very sensitive bladder. I fired him, and recently went to my new urologist and witnessed the results of Nowzari's work on a camera image: prostate unchanged in form, still enlarged and still causing problems. Worse, a piece of the equipment Nowzari installed is loose in the prostate area and aggravating the condition he was engaged to relieve. STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!! Update: I've now learned that AN OPERATION IN THE HOSPITAL, UNDER SEDATION, is required to repair the damage from this botched out-patient procedure. Followed by up to a week of recuperation. And then likely a third procedure to properly do what was not properly done by Dr. Nowzari. What a nightmare!

I've experienced BPH for many years with frequent urination and total urinary retention among my symptoms. Dr. Nowzari carefully investigated my case, running tests including a prostate biopsy in order to eliminate cancer as a possibility. Ultimately, he introduced a new procedure called Urolift, a minimally invasive alternative to traditional and permanent prostate "shaving". After running tests to determine whether or not I was a good candidate for the procedure, we moved ahead. One night in the hospital was necessary, and about a week of recovery followed, after which my BPH symptoms were drastically reduced. About a year and a half later, I've noticed no decline in my prostate health, I find it much easier to manage my bathroom visits and I've had no instances of urinary retention, so no ER visits or catheters. Through it all Dr. Nowzari has shown great support and always professional follow-up. I can't recommend him or his staff any stronger.

I have been suffering from BPH for over 20 years. Throughout that time I moved from state to state with work having to get established with a urologist and general practitioner each time. I was taking assorted medications to alleviate the symptoms of urgency and frequency urniating. I think took any and every pill a urologist could prescribe for an enlarged prostate. That helped a little but never solved the root problem. On top of that some of the meds had undesirable side effects. My sleep was terrible. I was getting up multiple times in the night to pee. The sleep I did get was never great. When I first started seeing Dr Park, he kept me on my then current medications but we started exploring the possibility of the Urolift procedure and my potential for being a candidate that could benefit from it. He provided full disclosure to help me make a decision and was never pushy about moving forward with the procedure. Ultimately, I had been suffering enough for too long and wanted to schedule it. So we did it. Recovery time was 1-2 days. I am now 2 weeks out from the procedure. My sleep quality and quantity is drastically improved. I am actually emptying out my bladder now and the regular urgency I once had is minimal. I am now off all of the meds I was taking for BPH. I can't thank Dr Park and his staff enough for improving my quality of life so much! I want to tell every man I know to get their prostate checked out by Dr Park and his team!

I selected Dr. Gaske because I felt that she would be more attentive to her female patients. This was not the case. After three visits to her office (one visit was for an ultrasound), I still have not had my medical issues resolved nor my questions adequately addressed. On my last visit, the doctor could not find my ultrasound test results, did not know why I had made my appointment with her and just rattled things off the top of her head. She spent a total of five minutes actually talking to me, the remainder of the time was spent talking to the hospital on an unrelated matter and tending to another patient in another room while she was supposed to be working with me. She doesn't listen, doesn't read the patient history on file and is merely focused on scheduling follow up appointments to generate additional revenue. Be forewarned.
