Shortly after we had our contract 3 other offers came in before we closed on our home! For SALE BY OWNER worked for me and I am so glad I used an attorney for our closing... NO AGENT fees... It took me about 1.5 years to sell my home myself but the other homes were on the market an average of 8 months with agents. Sure they could have sold it a lot sooner but I would have lost a TON of $$$$$$! I broke even on the sale of my home and I feel everyone was happy with the price as the appraisal came in a little HIGHER than the price we were asking for on our home. Again, I had full intentions of listing with this office UNTIL they wanted to drop my price ridiculously LOW!
