I cannot praise this dentist enough. It doesn't go far enough to say he is professional in every sense of the word. He is also very caring towards his patients. I cracked a tooth and called over to see what they could do. The lady at the front desk tried her best but informed me that he was completely booked. I checked other dentists in the area and they were booked too, one wanted to fit me in a month later. I definitely didn't want a half a tooth with a sharp edge and a hole to the root exposed for a month! Luckily the lady at Dr. Knox's office was able to schedule me in as an emergency during lunch the next day. He did a thorough cleansing, made a mold, created a UV cured piece all during what should have been his lunch! He also explained every step of the procedure in a calm clear voice and I left his office with what seemed like my old tooth back! Dr. Knox is a GENIUS. He has been my dentist for over 30 years and I LOVE HIM!!!! He had done some Absolutely Excellent cosmetic work on my four front teeth that had lasted me for over 25 years. Most recently, due to my own lack of proper maintenance, I needed a tooth extracted (it was literally hanging) and it was time for some cosmetic maintenance on the front teeth---I was a mess!!!! I have had such a great experience with Dr. Knox and his office. Sadly I have had my share of fillings and even a crown but I just left his office and received my first pain free filling and he bonded a front tooth that I chipped and it matches perfectly. I am still amazed that I didn't feel any pain with the filling. He's very gentle and careful and has a pleasant and calming presence. His office is old-school with a view of the hill which helps to keep one relaxed. He is a less is more kind of dentist which I appreciate as other dentists try to sell you on more than you need. One of the Best Dentist I have ever had!!! I have been to some sketchy impatience dentist in LA so I know when a dentist is being honest, patient, caring & professional to his patients and does excellent work these are among the many attributes Dr. Knox has! From the first phone call Kelly was amazing his receptionist positive energy all around. Unfortunately, my mouth was in pretty bad shape from a former dentist neglecting my teeth. Dr. Knox with his amazing sense of humor helped lessen the blow of how many cavities I had. I knew I had a few I could physically see and feel them. I do some acting and modeling and it's very important to have a healthy clean teeth. I am thankful I was lead to Dr. Knox from a friend! I know that you can't possibly relate a dentist appointment to a spa treatment but, thats what I am going to do! I just went and saw Dr. Knox for a check up and teeth cleaning and I swear I left there more relaxed then when I went in. From the moment I called and spoke to Kelly to make an appointment to the moment I left my appointment, I received the BEST treatment possible. Kelly is super friendly and Dr. Knox went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and answer any questions that I had. The cleaning was super gentle yet effective and I was out of there in under an hour. I also must say that it had been a while since I went for a cleaning so Dr. Knox had his work cut out for him. Bonus points that Dr. Knox uses very slighted scented lavender gloves thus making it feel a bit spa-like and I received a little Colgate care package to take with me. Since leaving the Army and moving to Burbank and dealing with sketchy upselling "dentists" who tried to upsell me on unnecessary treatments (I'm not bragging, I literally have perfect teeth thanks to sealants before joining the military). So I was happy to find out that Dr. Knox actually met and exceeded the Yelp reviews on here. His office is old school but it faces the mountains and is very clean. You're not going to get razzle dazzle high tech, you will however get the actual dentist Dr. Knox taking the time to talk to you and he was the one doing my check up and cleaning, not a dental tech which was a relief. Seriously if you want a quality dentist, he is definitely the one to see and you won't feel like you're dealing with a used car salesman either. His receptionist was courteous, prompt, personable and professional.
