Otherwise they do take the local bank's debit card. If you are a traveler, they don't take VISA, MC or AMEX. No notice posted about that-- so big surprise when checking out. We had slightly less cash than the bill. Also, they charge 3euros to share a pizza! . They dropped the sharing charge, so that our total cash-in-pocket ended up sufficing.
