The Swamp Classic Trail is for all ages to enjoy, because their is adventures for everyone. My family and I decided to take a trip up to Greenville and bike ride the trail.  The Swamp Rabbit Trail is a 22 miles long paved route that goes through the city of Greenville. While on the trail you can either bike ride, run, or just go for a quick walk (by yourself or with your pet). One aspect of the Swamp Rabbit Trail I really like is the.widness of the pavement, because I don't have to worry about running into people. Thoughtout my time bike riding, I noticed that the path were kept up to matience, which I really liked. In addition, throughout the trail their are maps posted to show you where you are. If you are worried about having to use the restroom, don't worry because there is bathroom facilities located along the path. Furthermore, If you are feeling hungry you could grab a quick bite at the Swamp Rabbit Cafe that is located right on the trail.  Another feature I like about the Swamp Rabbit Trail is the local art features that are scattered throughout the trail. On my bike ride I seen beautiful murals, iron artwork, bridges, and so much more. My daughter had a fun time taking photos in front of the ironrod Rabbit.  I know you may be wondering, where do you park? There is free parking available at the Greenville, and the trail is easily assembly front this parking area. If this parking lot is full you can also park in other areas around the Greenville city that are free, but you will have to do some research through. Don't worry about being far from the trail, because their is multiple entrance to the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Lastly, if you are in the area or just planning a trip to Greenville South Carolina you should definitely go to the Swamp Rabbit Trail with the whole family, because you definitely have an amazing time. If you run or bike, this is the trail you want! This section is smack in the middle of downtown Greenville. It's very much similar to the Beltline and Silver Comet Trail in Atlanta. If you start from this section and head away from the city, you'll eventually get to parts of the trail where you don't have to worry about cars. Pros: - there's a children's park at this section - rubberized side section of the trail for 1/3 of a mile - great scenery (runs beside a creek, hits a big green space area, has some shops right off the trail about 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile down heading away from city) - fairly flat - wide enough for runners and cyclists Cons: - no bathrooms (the green space further down has a bathroom but it's not opened yet) - first 2 miles do hit intersections where you'll need to be cognizant of cars - no quarter mile markers or markers in general Overall, it's the perfect spot to get most types of runs in (long, tempo, easy). Guided Rides - Our guide Josh managed to make it all work perfect; for a mom who is truly a mountain biking beginner, the dad who seems to be able to handle anything and the son who really enjoys a challenge. My point is, they happily accommodate all skills levels. Rental Bike options - it's only first class here with beautifully equipped new Yeti bikes, you will leave wanting one of these babies for sure! Plenty of choices for all rider types/sizes/etc... Location - The Bike Farm is easy to find just outside Asheville proper then a short trip to unbelievable trail options. Your guide will discuss what you want to do, then plan the route accordingly. We originally chose one day then added a second because we just couldn't get enough. If we could have stayed longer, we definitely would have. We took this trip to have an escape and enjoy the outdoors and couldn't be happier that we chose The Bike Farm. When we return to NC, without a doubt we will book again.

The space has the bones of an old auto shop turned neighborhood coffee meetup spot: industrial, unfussy, outdoorsy. The service is classic coffee shop friendliness. There's plenty of bar seating plus larger tables, so it works equally well for grabbing coffee solo, meeting up with friends, or camping out (get it?) for a study/work session. Trust me (or don't): The house-made waffles are the main character. Hands down some of the best I've had!! The texture is spot-on, with that perfect consistency that holds up under the toppings instead of turning into a soggy carb sponge. They absolutely nail the waffle-to-topping ratio as every bite gets a little waffle, fruit, and topping without the whole thing collapsing. I also loved that ordering "for here" actually means for here; your food and drinks come on real dishes instead of disposable everything. It's a small detail, but it makes perfect sense for an outdoorsy, sustainability-minded brand so the whole experience feel more intentional. It's a little steep, but not overly technical. There definitely wasn't anything I wanted rear suspension for. I did have a mechanical issue on day four, which must be a possibility with any bike on these trails. But the issue was practically the best experience of the whole thing. One of their mechanics had the whole thing fixed up for me by the next day.
