It is located in a residential neighborhood on Rustic Rock Drive (Balcones Woods subdivision). The park feels pleasantly secluded while still being easy to access. Please note that Tanglewood Park and Austin Wellness & Rehabilitation Center have the exact same address and are on opposites sides of the street on Rustic Rock. Go figure... The park offers a nice portfolio of amenities, including a children's playgrounds, open green space, and courts for basketball and volleyball. Strolling through the park, you can see how it would be perfect for families spending time in the park and for residents getting some fresh air or leisurely exercise. The paved walking paths made it easy for us to stroll through the park. This nicely paved walking path takes you through the wooded area and makes it very walkable. The path appears to form a large circle. Look forward to spending more time this summer in this neighborhood park...

This trail is just a part of a system of trails that run through out the Pflugerville area that adds to the value of the community. The other advantage of this trail system is that it is all very close to Pflugerville city center. There are some trash cans and benches located along the way with some trail lighting. There are a few entry points along the trail, but there are no parking lots. Along the trail there are many residential homes whose backyard faces out towards the trail. Definitely a great spot to spend an hour or two hiking or biking and visiting the local parks along it.

The amenity list includes a soccer field, two Pickleball courts, table tennis, an indoor amenity center, lots of covered picnic tables, a covered play scape and a large pool. There are two Pickleball courts, but no surrounding fence and there is plenty of parking. However, this park is for the residents of the subdivision, not a public park. Both parks act as traffic roundabouts in their respective neighborhoods and are separated by Weiland elementary school. The reason this park is nicer than its nearby neighbor is because it features a swimming pool. There is a larger playscape located here as opposed to the other park. This is roughly a 1 acre patch of land that is well utilized with paved walkways, benches, pool, and covered play scape with swings. There is also a nice short gravel pathway with benches and the entire property is ringed with a 4 foot perimeter fence. There are bathrooms located within the pool area along with plenty of seating and there's even a book depository box next to the playscape, but no grills. Just one block south of this park you'll run into Stoney Creek park and it's paved trails (Battenburg Trail) that run along a creek. This is definitely a very nice HOA park for the local residents, not the general public.
