I always ask for a receipt because I enter them on a rewards app. Upon arriving to work, I went to scan my receipt and noticed I was charged for 2 coconut waters (I only got 1) and charged for only 1 energy drink which was on a buy-twi for whatever special. This is the third time I've realized something like this has happened there. I also recently had an incident where I cashed in a $7 winning lottery ticket and also purchased several items. Realized later than night that she never applied the winning $7 towards my cash purchase. I don't have time to deal with checking my receipt every time I leave there and then go back in to deal with the mistake. Providing quick service isn't worth it if the customer is getting cheated out of money.

Do you chance running out of gas by waiting to you finish with your appointment (Option A) or pop into the nearest gasoline station to fuel up (Option B.) I went with Option B. Because I have this likely unfounded fear of running out of gas, I normally put in gas with I get to half a tank. However, unfortunately, I did not notice that I inched to one-fourth of tank of gas to on empty. The closest gasoline station was HEB Fuel Gas. I am a creature of habit when it comes to getting gas, however, I was in an emergency situation. So, I stopped to pump gasoline, so I would not be stranded along the highway. While the pump was gushing gas into my car, I proceeded to clean my windshield. Gas and windshield cleaning services...score! Immediately, I noticed that the gasoline price per gallon was $3.27, which is a lot lower than I am used to paying. So I quickly filled up and I was on my way. Yes, I made it to my appointment on time with time to spare.

It does have some other businesses directly next-door, including some space to rent. It has all the usual convenient store items and even has a surprisingly good selection of craft beer. The gas station is paired up with a kitchen inside known as the Deli Box which features Tex-Mex choices and burgers. They do have a nice coffee section and even feature some fresh pastry items. They do sell ice, firewood and rent propane tanks. If you want to use the bathroom, they keep it locked so you'll have to ask the cashier to open it for you. This store is arranged in standard QuikTrip fashion. Depending on which side you enter you can choose fountain drinks or coffee drinks on tap on the immediate wall. There is fresh food in an open refrigerated section and a variety of hot foods. There is also a kitchen with a kiosk screen from which ordering can take place. There are fresh donuts and related pastries in the morning, which are discounted at night. Like other convenience stores you can find candy and generic sundries and groceries. I've just come in for the drinks. The fountain drinks have the right carbonation. I also like that they offer coffee on tap; it's unique. Both the cold brews are tasty, as well as the hot coffee offerings. And, if you want to sweeten your coffee, they tend to have 6-10 flavored creamers available for this use. And of course, they have the good personal service other convenience stores don't. You are greeted and thanked. Also, one person working can handle checking out people from both sides of the register. The fuel pumps are located a decent distance away from the store and are spaced well apart for vehicles to maneuver around. The pumps are also very modern.
