I did not get his name, but extremely nice gentlemen in shirt and coat examined my watch and explained the dual screw links and that it would take some time. Instead of making me come back as I was headed to Livermore, he expertly measured my wrist, removed the proper number of links, and had me back on my way in less than 30 minutes. He explained that it was a complicated job and apologized for the delay. He said he made others wait to be sure I had my grad gift ready to wear. It fits EXACTLY the way the manufacturer recommended with slight play. I loved the service. I only needed the watch band adjusted but the customer service this time was as great as it was years and yeats ago when I bought a Swiss Army watch from them. I will never go anywhere else. PS...I had no idea Vintage Faire mall was as nice as it is today. I though covid decimated it and I was glad to be wrong. It was unbelievably nice and a great variety of stores and food options. Don't skip Vintage Time. You can't go wrong with the customer service, attention to detail, and selection.

I spoke with Jenelle about my budget, which was pretty low due to this being my first time piece, and she patiently showed me around the entry level Seiko selection that they had and helped me try several on. I went to several other jewelers and ultimately came back because of the service and respect that I felt from Jenelle despite being a low spending customer considering the inventory that they carry. Their Seiko expert, whose name I unfortunately forgot, was also extremely helpful in adjusting my Seiko and showing me how to properly operate the functions of the crown. I was then passed in to another rep who I had to explain to again, he then passed me on to another guy which I had to explain again. Mind you, I was the only customer in the store, the lack of care in my business was apparent. He quickly told me that I needed an appointment and would have to go home and call them. Unbelievable that they couldn't offer to schedule or help me any further. I've followed Ronnie for over 20 years when he had his previous store in San Ramon but can't fathom visiting this store anymore. It's really too bad that customer service isn't really a priority for them.

The staff and leadership were straightforward, professional, and made the purchase possible with minimal effort on my part. Having since experienced a few models from the brand and the effort (or "marathon", as some call it) that comes with it, I appreciate the value of the direct and no-fuss communication from the Devons team back then. They were happy to do so and the lovely Mary was the jeweler that helped us out. According to her, she retired and since then has come back more out of fun than necessity. She was super down to earth and friendly, even though the jewelry store itself feels a bit overwhelming. This experience was in contrast to a previous experience buying said wedding ring years ago, where I was made to feel small and poor, but I felt like this experience made up for it. Sidenote, in my previous experience, the owner did come over and noticed some tension between the jeweler and I and quickly worked to resolve things and take care of my purchase.

We drive 62 miles to bring our watches for battery replacements or repair. I have a few Scuba dive and military watches, which can operated down to 200 meters. These watches need to be pressure tested, M&S Watch can perform these pressure test for me with excellent results. I just dropped off several of my wifes watches for new battery replacement.
