I first met with Diego who did my first cover up and then came back for some more work over the next couple of days. I met with Erich who had some creative ideas for my coverups when most people prior had told me I would be stuck with the original ink, he didnt think that surrender was an option. The staff here is very friendly and take the time to get to know you and want the best work done to your satisfaction. I had some work done on the arches of my foot and they wore out a little but Diego said if ever back in the neighborhood he would retouch up the work for free. I recently returned again and took him up on his offer and he did the retouch for me as promised. Highly reccomend these guys and they are always available to accomodate your time slots to get the job done.

When I find an artist who does clean work that matches the vision of what I wanted why would I go anywhere else. At Goodspeed, George, Jeremy and Clarissa interact like you are visiting them at home. The decor of the shop is eclectic. The music is surprising. George has done 4 of my six tattoos. Once you develop a level of trust with an artist, getting ink done is much more enjoyable. On my most recent visit I brought my daughter for her first tattoo. Both of us are super happy with how the tattoos came out. Goodspeed is a great little local shop for getting your ink done. But a tattoo shop is not a salon or preschool. Be ready for the chaotic energy that goes with artists creating permanent pieces of art on people's bodies. I don't have plans for any new work, yet. A very welcoming place from reception to artists. All were extremely pleasant and showed great artistry. Love my tattoo and my dear friend, who was just going to meet me for moral support, decided to gay a tattoo in honor of her adopted puppers! Our Artist, Rick, was great. Very personable, checked and rechecked to make sure the tattoo was to our liking and the conversation was so enjoyable. Will be back!
