Living in a structured environment with 20 plus people for 90 days is tough but rewarding. Something's I don't quite understand I shall speak of though I do not blame the staff for maybe they are just programmed that way, #1 being an individual of high energy i made Dani our lead counselor uncomfortable. She had me sent to Sugi psychiatry for a reassessment towards the end of my stay after my insurance had expired which caused a co pay of 800$. The meds that were prescribed made me feel like a zombie with depression and suicidal thoughts. When I spoke of this I was threatened to be thrown from the program and onto the streets. I bargained to stay on my meds and out of every ones way in order not to be discharged in the middle of winter. Upon returning from work the night before new years I was walking through the kitchen when one of the house manager commented on my flood pants and how" That bicycle riding is really paying off Damon" and I returned the banter for I thought it was in a playful manner " you look good in those shorts while cutting pizza ". I found myself on the streets. Being discharged at night in Reno on a weekend the day before new years when motels were extremely pricey was definitely a threat to my sobriety. Thank God I have a firm foundation in AA. I would recommend this program if you are getting out of prison and have no where else to go. The rules are simple and effective in helping someone to conform to society and the views of a superior authority. If you do what they say there should be No problem. What happened to me then? Thanks step 1. I do think it's a good program with the proper structure. The possibilities that are offered can be life changing as long as you are willing to do the work. Work. Work. Work.

From the very beginning, Julie and Susanne have been one of the smartest, most compassionate, and dedicated people I've ever had the honor to work with. This was one of the hardest and longest battles of my life, and having Julie and her team by my side made all the difference. She truly listened to me, believed in my story, and fought tirelessly to make sure every detail was uncovered and every piece of evidence was collected. Her attention to detail and unwavering patience gave me so much peace of mind throughout this entire process. I am naturally not always the most organized person and having a case with so many moving parts - I felt reassured monthly that we were on task and heading to a productive outcome. Not once did I feel like my questions went unanswered. Julie and her team made me feel supported, respected, and truly cared for...not just as a client, but as a person. Reno is lucky to have someone like her representing those who've been wronged. I can't recommend The Law Office of Julie Throop highly enough. While the term "third party" implies impartial, they are not. They basically represent your employer against you in a legal matter. In other words they want to screw you. Your employer and his claims management view your claim as a lawsuit. Jay is not interested in a discrimination case or management harassment at your workplace. Jay and his staff know the doctors and medical facilities and the process and the opposition. At the end of the matter you receive a disability rating and Jay get's a percentage of it and perhaps a share of your time off pay. Statistics show that someone represented in a case by an attorney on average get 7 times what they would have received without one. My case ended up being worth very little to Jay and he was disappointed by that. But a simple matter became more complicated and I would be seriously suffering today or even dead if they had not fought against the claim's management company and navigated me through the hearing system. Outstanding legal team. If I still lived in NV I would use him again.
