Pleasing atmosphere. Server seemed indifferent. Calamari was fresh and unexpectedly served with a spicy sweet/sour sauce instead of the usual marinara. Hubbie and i disagreed on our main order. He liked everything and is picky about his food. We both had the half paninni and soup. I found the French onion to be so-so: a limp piece of sliced swiss dropped on top of the soup expected to melt by the heat of the contents, not a broiler, and way too many pumpernickel croutons stuffed into the bowl leaving little room for the soup. The turkey avocado paninni was generously stuffed with ingredients but lacked any real flavor. Neighbors pizza looked really good. This had to be the best chicken sandwich I ever had. Chicken, bacon, ranch, and cheese just the best. The portions were huge and I was unable to finish my fries which were great as well. We eat at Timeless any time we're in Wellsboro. We always receive great service and great food! I appreciate the smart shaped bar "corner" that allows groups of 4-6 to eat together and converse at the bar. PROS: *Great service (the vast majority of the time) *Excellent pizza (buffalo chicken pizza is awesome) *Varied menu *Calamari dipping sauces are out of this world CONS: *Service can be a bit slow *Prices are too high for what it is. Keep in mind as you read this, I'm totally down w/paying for great food. This IS great food, but the actual food/products don't warrant quite the prices being charged. I feel more like the prices are set w/the intention of BEING HIGH more so than anything else. *Lackluster beer selection. While there are two rows of bottle beers and 5 taps, there are limited local/craft beer selections. Talk about small salad portions..... I got a salad and it was $8.50 and was starving. I expected a full and large salad, but what do I get? Great Wings - everything else is pretty good not great - Go for the wings. We eat here from time to time- last weekend we popped in after a local wedding service. It's not fine-dining folks, but it is a decent place to eat in Wellsboro, PA, and it's popular with the locals. The main reason I wanted to write a review - they are doing the best chicken wings I've had in the area. Had 'em twice now - both times were perfectly crackling crisp on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside. Buffalo sauce done to "Anchor Bar" specs - hot but not too hot. Not sticky, not runny - just right. And not so much sauce that you're left with a giant mess. PS - I have no idea where people are coming up with "best Italian Restaurant" for this place - it is not. They do have a couple of Italian things on the menu, but overall it's bar food and good old American fare. Nothing fancy. Probably not much healthy either. I remember when the place was first opened. It has grown since, but after the new owners took over, portions, taste, and creativity dwindled. They have the word "subs" and "pannini" as their main feature in their lunch/dinner menu, one type of roll for every sandwhich, build your own burger, and box desserts. The hand tossed pizzas were really amazing, but prices went up (and they were high enough). Timeless was not a "pizza or sub" joint...not with a full bar, wine selections, and beer on tap, but now that's what it is. It's tacky and poorly executed. A friend of ours comes to Wellsboro yearly with her daughter and she recommended this restaurant. The service was excellent and the manager checked on us. I would say the food was mediocre. I ordered a salmon salad and the salmon was large and tasty (a plus!) but the salad was clearly bagged salad with 2 tiny green pepper strips and no other veggies other than what was in the bagged mixture. My husband said the mozzarella strips were not tasty and overcooked. When we return, we probably won't eat here but maybe their pizza is good :-) read more

Our date of visit was 20160924, This was probably our 3rd-4th time eating at Timeless. We were seated promptly and our order was taken within a reasonable time. When we received our appetizer, we were told that they were out of silverware and the server would get us some as soon as she could. We had time to eat our appetizer, order our main dish and get out salads before she remembered that we still had not received our silverware. We also had no napkins given to us. So as you can imagine how the 4 of us felt sitting there with food all over our fingers and no way to clean them off. It was still about 5 minutes after receiving our salads before she brought out silverware, and when she did that was still not clean. 2 knives and 2 forks still had food on them. Now about the main dishes. 2 of us ordered Alfredo, one with steak and one with chicken. The order that had steak with it, clearly had been prepared with shrimp. The one that was prepared with chicken had a very profound difference in taste to the Alfredo sauce. Not only could you taste shrimp, you could smell it across the table. This whole time our server cleared used and empty dishes only once which was 3 salad plates, so our empty appetizer dish and all our appetizer plates were still sitting there stacked so that she would see we were done. To top it all off when We paid the bill our server left my card sitting at there work station after bringing me the copy to sign. I tried to get her attention as she walked away, to let her know that my card was not in the bill fold to no avail. I had to walk over and get my card. Like I said this was our 3rd or 4th visit and this was by far the least satisfying. I hope that I have provided enough information. read more

We sat in the lounge area which is very nice. Wonderful staff worked together to make our experience great. The bread we had was delicious - except for the type of spice oil because you cannot get to the spices since they are in a cup. I had a salad that was wilted with oily balsamic vinaigrette. I also had shrimp scampi which was oily and over-cooked pasta. My husband had the turkey panini that was to have avocado and it had a little sliver. read more

I previously gave this restaurant a great review, but something has happened. We usually love their pizza & it has went down hill drastically. We gave it 3 more chances, but the last batch of pizza's were the worst we have ever had. We had company & it was embarrassing to serve them. The crust was so thin, that there were actually places that there was just cheese & the cheese was burnt, the bottom was burnt & the pepperoni was so lacking in pepperoni's that it was a joke. Our first visit will probably be our last. We got our soup then came our appetizers. After that, we asked where our salads were. The waiter said the kitchen times everything. Huh? This restaurant has the potential to be good it just fails to execute . The menu looks good but the food really lacks flavor. They seem to try to hide their bland flavor by drowning things in batter and sauce. The service is ok but the prices are way too high for diner quality food . After a day of bicycling and getting our bearings of the area, we stopped for a late dinner. Had a drink at the bar which was full. The bartender was very attentive and helpful. We decided to have dinner in the dining room which is quaint but could have the lights dimmed. The menu had various items but both my husband and I decided to try the speak, potatoes salad. The dressing was vinegery, the meat cooked perfect, the greens crisp. This is something I would have never considered. What an excellent choice. The service was excellent. We enjoyed our meal at this restaurant -- my wife got the salmon and I got the meatloaf. Both were quite good. They seemed to have two parts of the restaurant, one that resembled somewhat more a bar/pub and the other more of a traditional restaurant. They also offered good value for the price. We walked to the restaurant from the place where we were staying in town, so I cannot comment on parking options there, but I would imagine that street parking nearby ought not be too hard to find. read more

I ordered the Taco Salad which took about an hour. I looked around and noticed most everyone that was seated in the same area was not eating. First red flag! I did finally get my order and I noticed that their wasn't many chips, the salsa was unseasoned chopped tomato's. I took a bite of the steak and it was bland. No seasoning what so ever, no salt, no pepper, no nothing. The couple a few tables away from me also was complaining about their meal as well. Not sure what was going on but maybe the cook didn't show up! First time I ever refused a meal. I'm a guy so theirs not much I won't eat and I won't eat their again. my parents and my own family travelled across the state to wellsboro last weekend. we had three meals there in two days totaling over $200!! at lunch we waited forever for our waitress(carly) , waited forever for refills. our last round never came even after we specifically asked her! then we waited at least 20 minutes to bring the bill. my sister finally went to find her to pay. so learning from that we made reservations for dinner. got there and waited for about 10 minutes starring at our table sitting empty. then we waited 20 minutes before we even got a waitress. once we got one, she was good (heather). we tried to complain to the manager but suddenly he "stepped out". so we called the next morning, he was "too busy to come to the phone". finally we called after we got home and he was rather rude to my mother. and offered abolutely no apologies. now the food is awesome, but the service sucks balls. read more
