He sucks and on first appearance he looked to me like he was on some drugs even if half the time he did have a few intelligent remarks but just wait till YOU see for yourself if you choose! He's just trying to make himself look good with all the helping photos from big easy jobs due to the storm for big Businesses and rich people or people that at least live very comfortably! I can understand being busy but there's no excuse for this treatment. I know he has been receiving my messages because we both have iPhones it tells me. So listen people I'm not just a a up tight and ignorant person that's just pissed off , NO! because if he didn't want this job or to help us he should have just said that from the start not beat around the bush, so I can find someone else. I even asked him if he plans on wasting my time and is too busy for this job I will find someone else's I just need to know now... this was after waiting a week and half for a freaking estimate! That let me remind you the estimate wasn't that difficult I'm sure of it and he said he would help me with a statement on how the previous work done was not correct so I did really feel at first he was being a good person . His response to my question was - (Chris) " I would never waste you're time I am sorry" but look how far that got me ! Then every week after was "I'm busy I'm sorry I will get it out to u this evening " but every week & day nothing ! And if that's how he is about a damn estimate I would hate to see how he works ! nobody has time for a LIAR! I hope this review helps whomever is reading , because I strongly suggest you pick someone else, I don't ever post reviews about people but lately people keep screwing me over and this guy knew about that, the website claims to be 24/7 emergency service and they are honest and reliable . None of that is true tho and if it is true then it most certainly didn't include me on that type of treatment after patently waiting for weeks and being very respectful up until today!

We absolutely adore our new home!  Our original home was built in 1983, but thanks to Essence of…read moredesign it looks and feels like a brand new dream home.  Essence of design expanded our entire house including the bedrooms, baths and closets.  They also added a half bath, his and her closets, mud room and back porch.  They also enclosed and extended our garage to incorporate a workspace and storage room. We replaced the plumbing, electrical, HVAC and added a fortified roof. The kitchen is amazing!  Infinity Cabinets replaced all our cabinets and they are all slow close.  We have a fancy coffee cabinet to hide our coffee maker and my favorite is the secret spice and cooking utensil cabinets.  The quartz countertops are the main attraction which are featured on a huge island that has hidden storage cabinets.  We worked with Wilmington appliance for all our kitchen appliances and Ferguson for our lighting and bath fixtures.  They were all wonderful!  The tile contractor also did amazing work.   Special thanks to many individuals at Essence, but especially Mike who did it all!  He specially designed and crafted the cabinets in our mud room and custom design our his and her closets.  Also thanks to Cassie who kept everyone organized.  Also thanks to some or our favorite people who helped all of this come to fruition - Eddie, Jay, Steve, Chrissy and Brian.  Also, thank you for being so kind to us and our overly friendly dog, Winston. These people are unlike the rest....they do return phone calls, show up for scheduled appointments and are very customer oriented. They are fantastic design engineers; just tell them what you would like and they follow up with a detailed plan of action. Dustin and Rob from a company called "The Whittling Rooster" are top notch... clean up after every job and truly care about their clients... We've had them build privacy divider walls for our condo, replace all ceiling lights, make numerous repairs, plumbing work, painting, ceiling fan replacements, and a number of other projects. They are the best and are very reasonably priced...if you need any repairs around your home, this company is of A1... quality. We absolutely live our walk through Butlers Pantry. So happy we found these two. Two We wanted a custom built shed next to our house. They got right on this.
