That said, I still had to pay a couple hundred dollars more than what I was originally quoted for the same PM service on the same truck -- a job I had documentation showing cost $399 elsewhere. It also felt like they were unhappy that I left a review at all, rather than focused on making it right from the start. I'm updating this review to reflect that they did work with me on the price, but I'd still encourage anyone bringing a truck here to get a firm, written quote before authorizing any work.******** I called ahead and asked Nic Brown for a price on preventive maintenance for my commercial truck. He looked up the oil and filters needed and quoted me $350-$400 for the full job -- comparable to what Kenworth charges for the same service. I chose this shop specifically because of that quote, at a time when I was watching my money very closely. The invoice for that exact PM service came to $676.69 -- nearly double what I was quoted for the same scope of work he had already priced out. If you're bringing a truck here, get everything in writing before you authorize anything, because the quote and the invoice did not match.
