Service is quick and direct, all revolves around the quality of the pizza served there. Prices are moderate, but you want to go there because of the authenticity of the place which probably didn't change much over the years. Reserving a table is highly recommended, but it also offers a take-away option. If you don't fancy elegant places but prefer the honestly of excellent food this is a great place for you!

While the concept was good, the execution left much to be desired. Both pizzas seemed to lack complexity in flavor. In particular, there was a lot of crust on the quadri, and I think there was generally not enough tomato sauce. For the Sicilia bedda, there was so much tuna and anchovies on top that it overpowered the other flavors, and having more acid such as lemon or vinaigrette would have balanced it out. Otherwise, it was just creamy and salty. The servers were friendly, and the pizza was fine but definitely nowhere near the best we've had in our time in Europe and (in my opinion) definitely not worth the price. Overall, I would probably rate it at 2.5 but bumped it up to 3 because the pizza was fine but just pretty average compared to the others we've had. We found out this restaurant thanks to a Groupon voucher we purchased months ago while planning our…read moretrip to Sicily. At that time we weren't sure about the place to visit, the itinerary and anything else. So we used the Groupon excuse to define at least some particulars of our daily routine at which unlikely we would have given up. Well, trust me if I say this was the best place my family and I have eaten during our 2015 spring break. Not only the menu and the portion were not Groupon-like - they were just enormous - but the service and presentation of the dishes were astonishing and comparable to a five-stars hotel. At the time we entered the restaurant - which later resulted to be also a small hotel - our skepticism was quite high. This place is far away from any town centre, in the inland. Thus without considering they didn't receive our booking made via that site that Groupon Italy obstinately want customers to use. However, something I learnt over time is to not trust the appearances and follow my gastro-sixth-sense. And I was right! Our expectations suddenly changed direction at the time we were told about the menu. An interesting list of typical Sicilian dishes that surprised us at every bite, accompanied by a chalice of Grillo. I took several pictures, but none of them will ever tell you how good those dishes were. Anyway, if you want to look at them, just look for my profile on Instagram. We left the place two hours after, fully satisfied. The chef freshly cooked our meal (it couldn't be pre-ready as our reservation was not there), and we had been given the right amount of time to eat. Every time something reached our table, the dishes were fully illustrated. And every time an empty dish was leaving the table we was asked about our appreciation. What else can I say? I think it's worth mentioning the proximity of this place to the Bingi airport (Trapani). Considering we would like to come back again to both Sicily and Rocche Draele, I will check for their availability when I will plan my next visit to Sicily.
