Our host and the manager were so responsive and called an ambulance for us. Once my mom was on our way to the ER, they continued to check in on us and made us feel so taken care of. Regarding the actual gameplay experience, we were having a great time playing these mini games and our host was energetic and charismatic. But we'll always remember the kindness they showed us during such a stressful time. If any of the staff is reading this, thank you so much for your kindness, and our mom is okay :)

Our host, Bjorn, made the night entertaining but challenging and I like the variety of games you could possibly play. GBGS would be an interesting spin (pun intended) on a work team building event, friends or family night out. The play had just the right amount of difficulty so multiple ages could participate. I also scored a $5 discount for becoming a member and another $5 by getting a coupon their website and that made it totally worth it. We were a bit far from home and our kid was getting restless, so I looked up nearby indoor playgrounds and ended up here. It was $25 since it was a weekend until they closed at 6pm. Our kiddo had a fun time! It's not as gargantuan as some other playgrounds, but they have a baby and toddler area, and it's multi-story so there's a lot of climbing and sliding. They also have an area with a bunch of riding vehicles, and most fun of all was the ball room. I thought a place called ball factory would have more...balls? But the ball room is basically a room with air cannons that let you load and shoot these soft play balls around the room. It's surprisingly pretty fun even for the adults to fire off a few rounds. And as someone who has been to a few of these indoor playgrounds, I'm grateful you don't have to buy their proprietary socks. Like I went to one place that wanted grippy socks - and we had grippy socks, but they weren't theirs! Some places need better insurance policies I guess, so I'm glad the Ball Factory isn't insanely strict. What's also nice is there's a Polish grocery next door, so I grabbed a few items while my wife stayed here. Our only gripe is there could be more seating in the play area for us parents to catch up on our phones, but at least the food area has a lot of space. And kids even get a free ball on the way out! Overall I think we'll come back, but we'll be sure to eat lunch before and dinner after since outside food isn't allowed.

I honestly don't even know how to describe how disappointed I am with Battle House. We are regular…read morecustomers and have spent our money here multiple times, I've been coming here since I was very young which is exactly why this experience was so frustrating. MY GUN WAS BROKEN 3 or 4 TIMES I MISSED BASICALLY HALF OF MY FIRST SESSION The level of professionalism from the staff was absolutely unacceptable. An employee actually joined the other team during our laser tag game and was openly cheating alongside them. My girlfriend's brother and his girlfriend were on that team, and the employee was telling them how to cheat and giving them information during the game. When my girlfriend spoke up about it, the employee argued with her before eventually being told to calm down. Watching an employee actively participate in cheating and then argue with a paying customer who called it out was ridiculous. Then we pointed out another person who was openly cheating. The person was eliminated and then stood around giving information to their team so they could know where people were. When I brought this to the employee's attention, I was basically told there was nothing they could do because the person "wasn't there." Then I was threatened with being kicked out if I continued to be "disrespectful." At that point, I wasn't even trying to argue anymore. My time was already basically up, so there was no point in continuing the conversation or asking for a refund. But the way my girlfriend and I were spoken to was completely unacceptable. There is a huge difference between enforcing rules and disrespecting customers. If an establishment has rules, enforce them fairly. If someone is cheating, address it. And if a customer has a legitimate complaint, have an adult conversation with them instead of arguing with them and threatening to kick them out. I'm a regular customer, and after this experience I can honestly say I have no reason to come back. I don't care about getting into an argument with a minimum-wage employee, and I certainly wasn't going to turn a stupid laser tag game into a physical confrontation. But that doesn't mean customers should have to sit there and tolerate being disrespected. I expect professionalism from businesses, and I expect employees to know how to de-escalate a situation rather than contribute to it. Battle House needs to seriously train its employees on customer service, conflict resolution, and enforcing its own rules fairly. Being a regular customer apparently means absolutely nothing when the staff is willing to treat you like this. Extremely disappointing. I will not be recommending this place to anyone. My instagram is @ilyyuvraj my email is patelyuvraj424@gmail.com hope someone from management reaches out we can talk about this further. Ive heard you can also get banned for writing bad reviews isn't the proving the people right? To be honest I don't care won't be coming back anyways

As part of a leadership workshop, the VP of our department decided to wrap up our two-day event…read morewith a little team-building fun at Simulation Zone. And I have to say, this was definitely a different way to end a corporate workshop! Simulation Zone is located in a strip mall, but don't let the storefront fool you. The place is quite spacious, with 10 racing simulators on one side and two flight simulators on the other. Toward the back is a separate Omni VR area featuring immersive experiences involving zombies and other tactical shooting scenarios. They also have a private party room where groups can bring in food, along with a full bar. And wouldn't you know it, they serve Prosecco! As some of you may already know, I'm a bubbles woman, so I was good to go! HAHAHAHAHAHA! I can't remember the bartender's name, but he was an absolute sweetheart. Even though there wasn't any table service, he made a point of bringing my drinks over to where I was sitting. Such a thoughtful gesture, and definitely appreciated! Now, let's talk about the simulators. I'm not much of a gamer, especially when it comes to joysticks, controllers, and all those buttons, so this was a completely new experience for me. I decided to start with the flight simulator, and let's just say the aviation industry is much safer with me sitting in first class rather than in the cockpit. I managed to crash the plane TWICE! Clearly, I do not possess the skill set required to be a pilot. That said, it was still entertaining, even if my flying career ended before it ever got off the ground. Now, the racing simulators? THAT was a whole different story! As a veteran of Chicago's Lower Wacker Drive and DuSable Lake Shore Drive, I figured I had a little experience navigating challenging roads. And let me tell you, the racing simulator was AMAZING! One of the coolest features is that everyone racing can communicate with each other through headsets. So not only are you competing against your coworkers, but you can also hear everyone's reactions as the race unfolds. I was having an absolute blast speeding around curves, bumping into other drivers, and doing whatever I could to get around them and move ahead! LOL! Let's just say my competitive side came out, and I may have treated the racetrack like a particularly aggressive commute on Lower Wacker Drive. All in good fun, of course! So I went from Flight School Dropout to Race Car Driver and it was glorious! I didn't get a chance to try the Omni VR experience because there were quite a few people waiting, and only four participants could go at a time. However, I spoke with several coworkers who tried it, and their reactions were 100% on board with the fun they had. The Omni VR setup includes special treadmills, safety harnesses, integrated tracking sensors, and immersive 3D sound. Participants can physically move through virtual environments while interacting with whatever scenario they're experiencing. According to my coworkers, the experience felt incredibly realistic and was downright scary at times! A few mentioned that it really got their adrenaline going and left them a little winded, but in a good way. Based on their reactions, it was clearly a hit. Simulation Zone turned out to be a fun and memorable way to end our leadership workshop. Between the racing simulators, flight experiences with me crashing, VR activities, and bar, there's something for just about everyone, whether you're an experienced gamer or a complete beginner like me. They do have food you can order if you don't bring in your own. I would definitely recommend it for group outings, corporate team-building events, or just an afternoon of friendly competition. My only hesitation about returning regularly is the location. Living in Chicago, it's quite a commute for me, so I probably wouldn't make a special trip out there just to race. However, when we're already at our corporate location in Lake Zurich, that's a different story. I could see myself driving over and hanging out just to avoid the rush hour traffic home. In fact, I'll be strongly recommending to our VP that we consider holding another event here during a future visit to corporate. Would I go back? Absolutely! Just keep me away from the flight simulator and put me behind the wheel of a race car. Apparently, I'm much better at causing chaos on the racetrack than keeping an airplane in the sky, and this for real real!
