My partner's full English breakfast was not much better, with doughy, virtually meatless sausage, everything on the plate dry, over-cooked and fried eggs that had burst. Burst eggs should never be put on a plate and served to a customer. It is the customer's privilege to burst their own egg yolk! Nobody bothered to ask if the second attempt at my food was okay and we in fact went to the cash desk to pay. We were charged full price and the bill came to over £20, including drinks. Nobody checked to see that I had left my second plate of food virtually untouched. I own a business in central London and this is the price I expect to pay for breakfast in a high end, central London restaurant or gastro pub. It was such a shame as the location and the place itself seems very nice, but is sadly let down by the terrible food and service. I have recently moved to the area and would have used this place regularly, but not after such a bad first experience. In summary; poor quality, cheap ingredients, cooked badly and over priced.
