Bought a suite in their sale about 2 years ago for £2300…read more This was alot of money for me, but I felt it was better to get something quality that would last a long time. The shop was not cheap, but the furniture there looked very solid, and higher quality than I had seen in many volume shops. The suite was delivered on time and as promised. However, I was not best pleased when a couple of months back I had a problem with one of the sofas collapsing on one side. I have to say, though, their response to this was truly excellent. When I phoned (on a Friday), I quoted my invoice number and the receptionist found my details immediately. I was told the manager was on holiday but would be back next week. Sure enough, I was called back by him on the Monday. He was polite, apologetic and totally professional, and promised to get on it straight away. An engineer called on me the same week, at a pre-arranged time. He dismantled and examined the sofa, found the problem (a knot in the wood that had split) and spent about 3 hours repairing the inside there and then. When he left, the sofa was as good as new. Whilst the initial problem was disappointing, these things do happen and I have to say the service I received in response to the fault was truly excellent. I would definitely shop there again, with confidence that if anything ever did go wrong - which I suspect would be unlikely -, then they would not be found wanting, if my previous experience is anything to go by.

The staff was also friendly and helpful.
