Hired for 1000 sq Ft home remodel. They showed up when scheduled. AJ was very respectful in the beginning. His guys did most of the work, they are young and doing their best but more experience is needed, even AJ says that, unfortunately, AJ doesn't take the time to inspect work they have performed. I now have two out of three windows installed that it takes two people to open or close.When I brought that to his attention He didn't even bother looking. He claims Lowe's will be reaching out to us in November to see what can be done. I've called Lowes and I've called Pella windows and neither know what he's talking about. I have wonky floors that he said we're going to look great, but when they actually were finished, I have lumpy floors due to cement that was not properly sanded. We discovered electrical problems early on I called in a electrical company. Issues were addressed and fixed. AJ claims he can do basic electrical however, he installed 4 GFIs on a single line which took the electrical in the kitchen right back down yet he had no clue why. He asked that we call the company back out and once again they fixed it we were informed it was due to the 4 GFI's installed on one line. Seems to me, AJ should've known better that just seems like that would be basic electrical knowledge. After informing him what the cause was even though he had promised to pay to fix it, he refused so we ended up paying double for electrical repairs. AJ was given money to buy all materials which included a gas fireplace. Both myself and a worker tried to bring it to his attention that we didn't believe the whole fireplace was in one small box. He blew it off and when he went to install it, we were correct, the frame was not included in the box, AJ then reached out to Lowe's..Lowes could not locate the frame. I told him I would go ahead and purchase another one on my own and he could credit for me for the fireplace to which he agreed. Timber Ridge has been paid in full and I have yet to receive credit for the undelivered fireplace and labor. After spending three months with AJ on this remodel, I have learned he can be very charming until things go south, and then he becomes nasty, condescending and arrogant. I honestly believe that he THINKS he's justified not refunding money paid for this fireplace is because he had to pay for a new shower door that came crashing down five minutes after installation. I have reached out by text twice for promised check the first time he said check would be mailed in two days eight days later I tried to reach out to inform and check had not been received.
