That review tells what we units had installed, how well the staff handled our complex situation and how wonderful the heating and AC worked from the units. Since then, we had Sean out to do a yearly cleaning and maintenance on the units. As always, he took great care to make sure nothing in the rooms around the units was disturbed from the cleaning. When he was finished inside and out, it gave us peace of mind that we were starting a new winter clean and ready to crank up the heat. Last week we had Sean out to do a redo and longer installation of one of the pipes back to the main outside unit (a planned deck renovation coming up). It was a long job, under a small space, cold and under threat of rain. He was careful and methodical and after finishing the installation, topped up the Freon in the pipes, cleaned up the area spic and span, & made sure all the units were working perfectly before leaving many hours later. Sean is a joy to work with, never once complained, always has a smile, answers all our questions and we trust him implicitly. As to value for the money- our electric bill has gone down pretty dramatically for both summer and winter. Worth the price hands down. The Mini Splits worked flawlessly the first year and we expect with Mini Splits USA to help us, they will continue for many years to come.

My wife ordered Baked Chicken while I enjoyed Ed's Baked Salmon. The breakfasts were superb, with delightful conversation. Because this was our third visit, Ed presented us each with our own hand-carved Walking Stick. The gentleman who crafts these beautiful pieces has left us this year, he will be sorely missed. On our second and third visits we stayed in this Hide-Away Cabin. This is a stand alone detached, fully equipped rustic cabin. All the pots and pans necessary for cooking on the gas stove. Man! Is it cozy! This (not so little) place sleeps five with the huge pull-out couch. The wrap-around porch has a swing glider overlooking the mountains. The master bedroom in the cabin has a walkout screened porch. The ample supply of heavy quilts came in handy for sleeping and wrapping into for some reading. It's just a short walk to the main inn for our meals, where books, movies and music CD's are plentiful. The regulation size pool table is downstairs. What a beautiful place this is!! We came away with our walking sticks, a handmade bird house for our back yard and the memory of being off-the-grid for three days. The morning of our departure there was a light snowfall, enough to cover the ground for this pic. The roads down the mountain were just wet by the time we packed up and left. The three words we have that best describe our adventure: SERENITY, TRANQUILITY and SHALOM

We had a great breakfast, virtual tour, and hike on the property. The new owners are so accommodating, we could not wait to come back and experience true mountain charm. Because of our remote location, we needed a whole house generator. Generac set us up with JS…read moreElectrical. They just needed a ticket from our power company, and they did the rest. They showed up at 8am on a Monday and were done by 1pm. The generator does a weekly test run at noon and runs smoothly. Since installation, the power has gone out once for a couple hours, and it kept our house going, uninterrupted. We are extremely pleased with their work and have called them back for new projects. Thank you!

Let's face it, when someone tells you that it will not cost more than $4,000, then that's what you're paying. I had four uni-struts that I had purchased at the Home Depot in Ranson, WV. When they finished up, I noticed that I only had two left. I asked them about it and they claimed that they used there own material. I looked at the sku numbers on the pieces that they used and it is a big coincidence that they drove 2 hours to Ranson and purchased it there. Good job but I recommend making sure that everything is nailed down. I have been in business surveying and never did anything like that.

OK, cool, their site was wrong and I spent less than I though I would. Wrong. Turns out the hotel Website books thru Expedia and I was actually charged $190.32. This is not a $190/night hotel. If you must stay here, and I don't recommend it,call to make reservation directly so you don't get hit with these hidden fees.

There are some repairs that are needed in the cabin. The chairs on the porch were both broken. The chairs around the fire were broken. The wall in the kitchen of the cabin was coming apart. The dishes were put away dirty from the previous tenants. The Wi-Fi is horrible. I hate to complain, but these are simple things that should be noticed by staff and rectified. Would we come back, probably. It is a beautiful area. The caverns were very cool, and our guide Rowan was great.

We were greeted by a massive parking lot and colorful sign. When we entered the gift shop to buy our tickets for the caverns, we learned that this is WV's largest gift shop. How cool! Our tour started promptly (looks like they run every half our) with Austin as our guide. He was so friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. It was so cool and spooky to be in a cave learning about stalagmites and stalactites. This is the perfect activity for folks of all ages, as it's not a heavy lift effort wise. The premises also have mini golf and "gold mining", as well as ice cream and plenty of gifts. Great place to stop and enjoy some time with the family! PS. Don't forgot to tip your fabulous tour guides.
