There is a log of gardening materials, a very large kitchen section, including appliances. It is a great place to gift shop! As you are waiting in line there are a lot of candy options to tempt you. There is a huge parking lot and if you buy something but they can load it into your car or even deliver it for free!

I bought some hardware for a project and had one 3 dollar item to return. Since it had been 31 days since I bought it and was one day late they would not allow me to return it. Another time I came in for some weedkiller and wanted to purchase it for the advertised price on the Tru Value Web site and he would not honor that advertised price. Well in my book it's 3 strikes and you are out. I will never ever purchase anything here again unless they have the only one out there. The other hardware stores in Estes Park have never pulled theis kind of stuff on me. They honor advertised prices.  These people see the consumers here as tourists. They don't care what you think because you will be gone in a few days.  The tourists make this great town what it is and it is sad that this guy doesn't know who signs his paycheck during the off season months

They never charge for delivery and they really work to take those extra steps to make sure you are happy with your experience. It's not the biggest of hardware stores, but they carry a little bit of a lot of things. Is your awful old vehicle leaking coolant? They have it. Want to paint your bathroom? They have a small paint center. Have an cast iron stove that needs some work? This is the only hardware store in the region that seems to carry anything at all for them. There are also plenty of commonly needed tools and hardware, a pet supplies and wild bird feeding area, plus a small outdoor/camping section complete with Latitude 40 Maps - my favorite. This is just a supremely necessary place and I appreciate it's existence, even if I do have to go down to bigger stores for some things.

I love family- owned hardware stores, but this one is a real winner, because they carry items you might not find in your town-y Ace. this one has books and ail the camping supplies you may have accidentally broken. If nothing else, they have a plethora of Duct tape to fix all that ails ya.
